    That is true as far as it goes. Problem is that corporations are now people and money is now speech. So the government only has the powers given to it by the wealthy and the corporations (and of course the wealthy corporations).

    Same can be said about stealth fighters, ICBMs, and anything else developed with tax payer dollars. Not 100% sure all of that information should be publicly available however.

    There are very few companies like Facebook whom have no documented source of their income. They are under legal obligation to provide investors with mission & earning statements. So they will have to answer the question of, if your users are not your customers, are they your product for your real customers?

    Should be calculated by the engineers in the design phase of the project.

    With all the legal complications surrounding it, I would be hard pressed to say with certainty one way or the other. As a concept, I would sy its free. As an actual product, I would have to review everything in it before I could say that it is.

    "Building stuff" is simply not what they do well. For example, a space suit costs them 10 million dollars to make and gets thrown away after a handfull of uses. They are great at the design and science side of things, but seem to fail at budget and logistics of construction.

    Assuming the claims of the Playboy centerfold are true, the death rate from whooping cough is around 0.5% which is much higher then the rate of autism. In other words, even if there was a correlation between vacines and autism, the vacines are still safer.
