    It requires CAT-6e certified twisted pair cables and wont run over existing house wiring.

    In my experience with such networks, its not the transfer speed but the response time that makes you want to chew your keyboard.

    7800gtx and dual AMD Opterons.

    Modern games still dont run at optimal frame rates at 1280x1024 with max graphics settings. Most recent of these is Neverwinter Nights 2, I get around 20fps which is enough, but I wouldn't mind it being a bit smoother.

    All of those produce tangible results. The goal of a lot of IT work, security especially, is to produce nothing.

    The general problem with IT work is that if you do your job realy well, nothing happens. So you then have to deal with questions like "why did we spend all that money on y2k when nothing happened".

    Its almost worth messing up from time to time just to show what would happen every day if you weren't there.

    The real good news is that the web gets around all those pesky laws stopping you from telling lies about the political subjects or canidates you dont like.

    In fact, there's nothing stopping me from saying things like Mesure A (a public transit initiative where I am) will kill babies, and all who support it will feast on the baby meat!

    No, its more like then make 200,000 of which only 100,000 meet Ciscos qualty standards. The ones Cisco rejects get sold to a knock off company.

    Um. I did the same thing, switched to an intel mac mini. itunes let me redownload the songs I'd paid for without any questions.

    The dont have a native version yet for Sumbian series 60 v3 yet, just s60 v2. There's some major changes in that minor revision number.

    I relay like this idea, so long as it can be turned off. Based on my experiance with Opera so far I'd say that not only will it be able to be turned off, but that you can disable it on a server by server baises.

    There's a reason I was willing to pay for Opera when it was still a commercial product. Now if only they would make a Symbian native version, the Java version has a hard time in landscape mode on my Nokia N93.

    True enough, I recall one case where a parent sued the school because his larva didn't win MVP on the school sports team. Makes one wish there was a written test to be a parrent, rather then just the physical one.

    Um, it is configurable. You can turn off all the warnings in question through an easy to use wizzard.
