    Really? Bitcoin mining??? You think people are buying ATI cards to mine bitcoins? And not for gaming? Maybe a few people are reusing their old cards for mining, but the bitcoin fad has pretty much passed... I'd be shocked if even .1% of the AMD graphics cards sold are for bitcoin.

    We know how to reach the moon. If for some reason it was necessary to land men on the moon, we could implement a program that would get us back there. Instead, we have rovers on Mars with another huge rover on the way there, a Saturn orbiter, a probe to Pluto, a Mercury orbiter, an asteroid orbiter, ....

    I sure as hell wouldn't trade all of that for a couple of guys walking around on the moon again.

    So no one else knew about it? Not the people who wrote the software to parse the data? Not the guy who had to estimate how many terabytes of disk would be required? No one?

    And for those who say "people were broadcasting their information" guess what, that still doesn't make circulating a fleet of vehicle to monitor everything OK. Google's "collect everything that isn't nailed down, apologize later" attitude was just plain wrong.

    Wish I had mod points... the whole "PCs are hard to maintain / games don't work" thing is just nonsense. I've got a mid-range machine that's about 2 and half years old. No upgrades so far, no problems with recent games (e.g. Skyrim) running on it.

    I only played ME 1 and enjoyed it, but I don't understand all the raving about the characters and the choices you make. The characters felt very flat compared to the companions in DA:O.

    Well, what if the "false flag" chatter is being created by the Iranians? So when they launch a "true flag" sinking of the Enterprise with a crude nuke delivered via cruise missile, the USA can't respond? Makes EXACTLY as much sense as the USA having "false flag" operation.

    When I think about all the 9/11 conspiracy theory stuff, what strikes me is that here we have one of the best documented events in history, and we STILL have people questioning the basic events. If you are going to question 9/11, you might as well not believe anything at all. Basically you have to make a decision as to whether you are going to start with the evidence first, or the conclusion first. If you start with "it's all a CIA plot" conclusion first, you can always explain away the evidence.
