Mirrior (if the page would finish downloading...): Here (note, this might have to be taken down, I'm not sure how MY site will handle the bandwidth, I'll keep a close eye on it.)
When people used to immagrate over here, people would try to sell them the Brooklyn Bridge. You had to be pretty stupid to believe you could buy a bridge, but some people fell for it, and that is where the saying came from.
If you were sharing them out on a p2p network, then you would be in the wrong. If the RIAA got into your computer illegally, and you wern't publically sharing the mp3 files, well, it wouldn't (shouldn't) be illegal.
I can't explain it, but the same thing happens to me. Its like, if I'm using 90% of my upload bandwidth (128 kbit), I only get 10% of my download bandwidth (1.5 mbit). Its very annoying. I would be intersted in something like this for windows as well (I find it too annoying to reboot whenever I want to play a game)
How would the threat of having to give people's money back make Linux anymore bug free (not that it has many bugs)? Most of the time no one given any money in the first place.
One problem with voice chat on the internet is lag from all the routing and processing that has to go on to get a packet from one computer to another. If a cell network starts working like this, wouldn't you get more voice lag than there allready is (if you listen close, there is a small delay on cell phones right now)?
There probably arn't any laws aginst this because no one else is stupid enough to try it. You can bet that there will be some new laws that say you can't hurl yourself 30 miles into the sky on a rocket without government permission.
Problem is, what do you want to make a bet the the RIAA will say, "We've lost music sales, its because of piracy!", and use it to their advantage in getting these things passed.
Using a laptop drive is definitly a good move, because they are mass produced for cheap in other devices (laptops). I'm sure people can handle a bit bigger a device with more capacity for less than a smaller device with less capacity for more.
Really? He is just a figure of your imagination.
He is planning to prevent MS from using the technology to implement it themselves, thus enforcing the patent.
Kazaa lite dosn't install any of the spyware that Kazaa has, but kazaa won't run without the cydoor dll so it puts the dummy file there.
I'm on the east coast (CT), and I get them the day before netflix says I will.

I'm 5'11 and 145 lbs, which is bordering on underweight. Compared to me, you are not too thin :p

The one from Amazon.com is the widescreen, FYI.
Take any nokia phone. Type "*3001#12345#". Boom, scroll to serial no., and change it. You can modify most any phone setting from there.
With the track record of IIS, I doubt that many companies will buy into another MS web server.
11 mbps/1200 people = 0.009167 Mbps/person = 9kb per person. No thanks.

A few seconds for an athlon? An athloc will fry in a split second without its heat sink.
The advantage is a very quiet and very cool system. Personally, I don't like my computer sounding like it's about to lift off.
Just a small correction, I know that all Nokia phones are .6 watts.

Get a virutal CDrom drive. I used one all the time when my cdrom was broken and I was swapping one out of my other computer.

Its not hard to write a small program that displays a fake reset message. I can write one in about 30 seconds.

Thats exactly the point. They don't know. The pages should have asked if they were over 18 before showing them adult only content.
