There was just a huge terrorist attack in Paris, and now the EU is considering passing a bill to outlaw encryption that can't be decrypted by the state. This is a huge opportunity for Snowden to say something about privacy, and instead he comments about "PUNCHING THE MONKEY"?!?!?!
Fighting ISIS by joining the military is a lot like fighting Morpheus in the matrix. i.e., "Do you think that how fast you move has anything to do with muscles in this place? Do you think that's air you're breathing?"
If you join the military, all you will be doing is bombing (maybe) combatants in Syria. The people who perpetrated the attack in Paris obviously were not in Syria.
Anonymous has the ability to sniff out and actually PREVENT further attacks.
Of course, they also have the ability to SWAT Counter-strike playing college kids who are no threat.
The thing that I noticed was the uniforms didn't seem to fit the actors properly. It's like they made one-size-fits-all uniforms for everyone. Hell, even DS9 had a tailor!
That's funny that you say it took longer than you expected. When I was upgrading an old laptop to windows 10, it displays friendly messages like "We're setting up your system", "This won't take long". Then after that, it displayed "Ok, this is taking longer than we expected". That cracked me up!
This is GREAT! I can just imagine some drunk fool getting in a Google self-driving car to get home from the bar, and the car getting pulled over by the cops. The drunk idiot could mouth off to the police all he wanted, but since he wasn't driving, no ticket!
The 1-star reviews on metacritic all seem to lament the boring plot and empty world, hollow characters, crummy voice acting, etc. Some say "buggy", but they don't mention what kind of bugs. You mention disappearing items... What items? Inventory items? Items in the world? Plot critical items?
One of the funniest bugs I remember in TES4: Oblivion is when you killed a guy in a house, and came back to that house later in the game, the dead body was bouncing and flailing all over the room. Sometimes, the banging would make quite a racket. It was funny, but it didn't really stop you from playing the game.
It's really System Shock (1) that needs the remake. Even with the mouselook patch, the controls are archaic and clumsy. It doesn't live up to the standards that modern FPS games strive to.
In fact, I can sum up all of those old first person shooters of 15+ years ago in three simple words:
"Skylons" were the name given to twinkling lights in the sky by Holly Marshall in the original "Land of the Lost" series. They were so named because they looked like pylons in the sky.
I know it's a joke, but I actually read the article and used the online web simulator to work though the example problem that the article suggested. It was a very simple problem... What is 2 times 3. Obviously, any grade schooler can tell you the answer is 6, but using the slide rule as accurately as possible, I came up with 5.5. If that's an example of the accuracy of a slide rule, then good riddance!
And the most important UI flaw.... It wasn't obvious how to SHUT DOWN THE OS. There was no start button like Windows 95. You had to RIGHT-CLICK on the desktop, and there was a shutdown option there.
The only thing worse than an operating system that won't run is one that won't stop.
Well, put them on and start the opening credit sequence.
Well, you see how you're posting as anonymous coward? With this list, people would still know who you are.
That's why it's evil.
Can't you still contest the ticket in a court of law? That is where you face your accuser.
Why in the world would anyone use Roman Numerals in this day and age? Do you know what year this is? It's MMXV for God's sake!
I think it means one dollar's worth of m&m's....
You say that like there is an infinite number of moderators at twitter that are reading every single feed. There isn't, and they're not.

Way to stay relevant, Ed!

One word: CueCat.

I hate to laugh at potty humor, but that statement was kinda funny...
Well, then aren't they stupid for *BROADCASTING IT*!!!
Learn about "Offline Files". It will alleviate the problem you describe.

Many of us know the term FOSS (Free Open Source Software). Even at $1, the government is still overpaying for open-source software.
I think "Software Politician" is smack-on.

That's ok. It's facebook. Most of the idiots there would probably write "I got so waisted last night" anyway.

It should work OK now....
Then what happened to their population? Did they all emigrate?
