    The simplest solution to this outrage is to simply BAN BEST BUY in your life. simple.

    Make it a habit to look elsewhere first, such as Newegg.com, compUSA...oh wait...seriously though. The first step to showing an out of control CORPORATE entity that they have stepped out of bounds is to stop shopping there. I no longer shop at Best Buy nor Walmart anymore and at every opportunity inform others. If 1 out 10 people whom I have talked to stops purchasing at these places then I can think of no better way to show contempt than through their pocket books.

    I just completed my intravenous mobile organic multi trillion cell processor running at 7.9 gazzillion gigahertz(it's based off the new iPhone) and it has calculated that if you add up the letters AT&T and then divide by the Latin letters in COMCAST you get the numeric value 666. Just saying.

    THIS is the smartest thing I have read about "hackers/slackers/crackers". I have worked in the security realm for the past ten years and worked along side some of the best hackers in the world, and from each of their mouths came the same statement...

    "the best hackers in the world are the ones you will never know about."

    This scenario is much like a criminal going to commit a crime no matter what, but he won't if you get his letter in the mail and then take steps and waste your time to tell him not too. Just so many things wrong with this story, but unfortunately not shocking and of course NO ONE will do anything to stop this trend in the country other than bitch and moan.
