If you know your employees put in 10 hour days and then go home to work some more, your "personal use" policy will have a great deal of slack in it. BECAUSE it's either that or get less free work out of somebody.
Is it ok if I picture you wearing a pancho, sipping coffee?
Seriously, though. If public sentiment about your nation is so easily swayed then maybe your country has bigger problems than video games. The problem in Russia isn't that people think they're terrorists, it's that the KGB has a chokehold on the country and the average citizen likes it. Banning a video game isn't going to un-assasinate any journalists, is it Mr. Colombian?
This is such a retarded point of view. If you're a real geek or doing real computer work you probably run all three major OSes. If you have a mac you can run all three of them on the same hardware at the same time.
If you're not a geek then the OS selection is simply a matter of taste, since most productivity software works on either platform. The price difference on hardware is basically beer money for a month or two.
2) I'm in hell (or someplace else that's not heaven). If I end up there, despite the type of life I lived, then I'd have to think that heaven was run by a spiteful and vengeful God on a power trip.
The "eternal punishment" of hell was supposed to be the absence of the creator's presence. The whole fire and brimstone concept is a relatively recent addition.
You mean besides the fact it is evidence in an investigation and that it is covered by privacy laws?
What? Evidence used in an investigation, should it be brought to trial, is by default entered into the public record. This is the law of the land.
Now, it's entirely possible that the feds would ask a judge to seal this information for the sake of privacy, but it's a huge leap to assume that this will naturally take place. There are certainly no "privacy laws" that require it.
Fallacies are a subset of the rhetorical device set, and can be a valuable tool in debate if used with judgment. Remember, you're trying to convince people, not play hugs and cuddles with your opponent.
I'd love to say that I'm surprised by your ignorant yet superior attitude, but then I'm not new here.
Which happens to be a rhetorical device, and not the Godwin's Law of debate.
I'm very happy that the young repub... I'm sorry, young libertarian crowd have mastered the identification of this one tool. However, you still have all of these to go. Better get cracking.
Well that's really the problem with CP and age of consent laws. Their definition of "child" doesn't jibe with reality, and simply causes confusion and miscommunication.
I personally am all for attempting to extend a period of blissful ignorance for kids, but it would be nice if we could acknowledge that that's what we're doing.
Sweet little sixteen
She's got the grown-up blues
Tight dress and lipstick
She's Sportin high heel shoes
Oh but tomorrow mornin
She'll have to change her trend
And be sweet sixteen
And back in class again
Love the phone, hate the name.
For some reason it makes me think of custard with cat hair in it.
this comes from BoingBoing so it may be nonsense
Please to explain their lack of credibility.
Seriously.

This Is Important.
And then dog-recovering ponies.
Oh thanks, he did forget to mention an irrational persecution complex.
Though I doubt that life would be very fulfilling without work.
I'm not sure which, but your definition for one of 'life', 'fulfilling', or 'work' is out of whack.

The only people for prohibition are crooked cops and gangsters. It hurts everyone else.

Well, it is boingboing after all
How do the unicorns fit into your rant?
I've been waiting for regular expressions. Not sure why it wasn't an option a decade ago.
I wouldn't be surprised to find out there there are several programming languages with something very similar.
That's actually an excellent reason for a search engine company to change a name. At least they didn't call it "a" or "the" programming language.
I have always believed that something exists.

considering the information requested will not be made public.
You know this how?
Raped and killed, apparently. I'm having a hard time keeping up with his rape/murder spree.
nobody seriously believes that Glenn Beck may or may not have raped and murdered a young girl in 1990.
He did what? That bastard!

First, its a strawman argument.
Which happens to be a rhetorical device, and not the Godwin's Law of debate.

Please, try to come up with criticism based in reality, and if you have a point try to back it up. Your comment is neither.
...and Horatio Alger was an asshole.
I was sincerely wishing you luck. As you are, so was I. As I am, so shall you be.
It isn't about connections
Man, that first real job is going to kick five different shades of crap out of you. Good luck, kid. You're going to need it.
