No offense, but attitudes like that will kill this country. The "good enough" or "at least we're better than X" line of thought leads us into a race to 2nd from the bottom.
Your router is constantly saying "Here I am! Connect to me! I am OPEN! I am AVAILABLE!"
This attempt at legislation actually goes against the default router settings provided by every single manufacturer. It attempts to genuinely legislate that up is down, that open is closed. That something similar passed in the UK only shows us that fools are not limited to our shores.
1) there just isn't a reasonably priced mac tower yet. 2) buying OEM memory from any pc manufacturer is always a ripoff, but mac is probably the worst offender. 3) my last job consisted of rotating our thousand+ computers through their respective service departments
- Dell : horrible quality of parts. Everything would fail.
- Gateway: not as bad as dell, but if you got a bad batch you were screwed.
- Apple: hardware failure was rare. when it happened customer support through apple was either an amazing and simple process or an absolute nightmare. 4) nothing beats a macbook pro
Thats right, TV isn't mandatory. Nor is there a Minimum Daily Requirement of viewing time. It's like I told a deliberate untruth in order to make a point.
At first I was annoyed that like four people and two mods totally missed that joke, but then I realized that each of you had absolutely no problem picturing a person who thought TV was mandatory, and I got scared.
You have to admit that it's harder for parents now that at least a basic cable subscription has been federally mandated. It's just a matter of making sure that the MDR of 3 hours viewing takes place during a family-friendly block of time.
Took out a student loan for mine... best purchase I've ever made. Windows, OSX, *nix on the same box? Without rebooting? Yes please! ((buy, borrow or steal a copy of Parallels... this should come standard with a new Mac))
Terrorists are not killing to kill. They want their way and are using it as a mechanism to show "Anybody, any time. You are not safe. We will have our way."
How people can have more sympathy for people randomly shelling unarmed non-combatants than for their victims is something I really don't want to understand.
Wait, are you talking about the Israelis or the Palestinians there? Both?
I read through your post twice, the second time with a metaphorical red pen in my hand. Don't blame others for your failure to communicate. You might in fact have a valid point rattling around your noggin somewhere, but it got lost when you tried to pin it down. Your username says it better than I could.
he'll still put his life on the line to protect your right to continue to whine.
You know, a lot of people work hard every day to keep our country safe, educated, clothed, fed, etc... but it's only the military who feel like they've got to pat themselves on the back for it. Yes, you might take a bullet in the distant future, but go talk to a firefighter or a teacher about sacrifice before you start demanding respect.
A direct vote would be the worse thing possible. This would ensure that the largely concentrates population centers would forever dictate to the other states
As opposed to having someone pick your vote for you?
I think this idea of critical thinking skills is over blown. [...] In a free world, you have a right to not have a say in who governs you.
Ahh yes, that is what you meant. You, sir, are a fascist.
That's not what's going on here. It's more along the lines of "This person accused me of something bad, so let me start with determining the credibility of their evidence, the chain of custody for that evidence, and the error rate for the methods they used to collect said evidence"
Comparing this to the "slutty girl" defense is inaccurate. The defense is challenging the methods that MediaSentry used to collect the evidence. Although it would be interesting to know how many of the subpoenas issued to ISPs have been responded to with "That IP address was not assigned to a subscriber at time in question" as it would directly relate to the error rate of MediaSentry's methods.
reposting parent's comment since it was modded down for no reason.
Yeah, considering the reliability of email and spam filters, not to mention the huge signal to noise problem, I'm surprised that anyone thinks it's ok to serve via email.
Out of mod points but what a great question. "not fit for service" could be read as "diametrically opposed to the practices and philosophies of the military". Is the military really the best branch of government to handle this problem?
And of course the irony is that if proper family planning was part of every person's education the instances of abortion would plummet.
It's not about abortions, it's about controlling women.
You are, I hope, appreciating the irony of a morally indignant 4chan fapper?
WoW Glider works by copying the entire game into memory.
That can't be right. At most it has to be accessing memory allocated to the client?
I did totally misunderstand you.
No offense, but attitudes like that will kill this country. The "good enough" or "at least we're better than X" line of thought leads us into a race to 2nd from the bottom.
It's worse than that...

Same here...
So long and thanks for all the fiction?

Oh, like the TV show Cops.
The # of people who have seen goatse has gone up 1000s of times in the last year.
CNN actually had a piece on this recently.
I think it's hilarious that you took the time to come back and proofread your troll. That's craftsmanship.

Can you trust an American domain registrar for your business ?
How about rephrasing that?
Can you convince your shareholders of the necessity of taking on additional liability by going through an American registrar?
((shareholders love to hear contingency plans like "that could never happen to us"))

I'm sick of a bunch of fanboys living in their mom's basement trying to find excuses for stealing by taking shots at people who work for a living.
Your tears are like milk.

I know that there are more scientific views to how we got to where we are than evolution
Such as?
and your comment makes a /. trifecta.

What's that? You flagged it as 'important'?
