  1. I agree on XBox Owner Sues Microsoft · · Score: 1

I had to return my XBOX already once because of disk read errors, support and the fix was great, but having to do it is a pain. To top it off a little more than a few months after getting the fix the read errors returned, how can MS skimp on one of the most important pieces of the system?

Now I am stuck with the insert disc and cross fingers method of getting a game to work. Bah, back to PC Gaming :)

  2. You're not immune, just too little to care about on 'Opener' Malware Targets OS X · · Score: -1, Troll

"Normally, when ever I'd see virus alerts, I'd revel in the fact that as a Mac user, I was immune (except for the slow-down of the net, the loss in productivity of my colleagues, and the increase in SPAM--often coming from my friends and colleagues)."

The ONLY reason you are immune is because your platform of choice is the minority (which may even be too little of a word, how about almost non existant), percentage of the computer base, which is why Macs AREN'T targeted for viruses, spam, and malware.

So maybe the Mac platform truley is better, well it really doesn't matter when 95% of the PCs are Windows. Mac users can be happy in the fact that they are the minority (an understatement) and can live virus free, well at least until now...

Actually most entry levels PPC are under $200, some much lower, I bought my last Toshiba PPC brand new over a year ago for $120 after rebates, with a better screen, more features, with more memory than any palm or linux pda its a no brainer.

sure some of the latest ones are more expensive, but they have 620mhz processors, VGA, and built in wifi so they warrent it.

hp, dell, and others can keep their prices much lower than any linux pda would be able to compete with just because of the sheer volume they sell.
