    my 15" Al only gets 2.5 hrs:-( nad something must b fubduck w/sleep: i put it 2 sleep w/~50% charge, and less than 20 hrs later the battery was dead:-(

    a driving instructor (http://decisivedriving.com/, my daughter took the course:-) told me many abs drivers just slam on the brakes & leave it up 2 the abs:-(

    reminds me of a stan mott cartoon (road&track, cyclops fame;-) way back when airbags were 1st proposed: people driving around in safety-tanks, playing bumper cars because they think they're invincible...oh, wait;-}

    hell, i can find hundreds of people, decades after the fact, who can swear they _never_ saw whitehead fly;-)

    this popped up after i posted the npr link...the story mentioned that most of the eye-witness accounts of whitehead's flight were given 80 yrs after the fact;-) but the wrights did abandon engineering to pursue legal claims...they never left the kite design...
