    Not a US taxpayer so excuse the question.
    I'm assuming the tax year ends December 31st and filing deadline is April 18th?
    DO you get any special dispensation if you have your taxes done on your behalf by an accountant/tax agent?

    Here (Australia), tax year ends June 30th and returns must be in by October 31st. If your tax return is submitted by an accountant/tax agent, you have until May 31st the following year.

    Seems much more civilised.

    It monitors everything I want in Linux and Windows systems and can support SNMP

    Actually, at least one of the complaints was that a child of that age should be in an approved child car restraint, not a standard seatbelt. Given the press on this, I'd say it was a successful advertising campaign.

    I remember it well. I used to work for Tandy when they started to sell the TRS-80 in Australia
    One of my jobs used to be to go to Dick Smith and buy what ever computer there were selling at the time
    to find out how it compared to the Tandy product.
    The protests were good advertising for both parties.

    Ah yes! I remember the good old days at Radio Shack (Tandy) when, prior to the first release of Windows,
    they used to run a full page ad with Bill Gates telling the world that in developing an advanced operating system like Windows
    (his words, not mine), MS had to rely on the Tandy 2000 the most powerful MS-DOS system available.
    They've fallen a long way from the days when the stock price used go upwards.

    I'd certainly be pissed off if I'd just paid $1400 for GSX only to be told this week it's free.
    I've been paying for regular updates to VMWorkstation over the years, does this mean I can stop and just use the free products?
    That said, it's still worth the money I've been paying.

    Prompted me to dig out some of those old Unix mags. I didn't find many ads with prices but I did find an article by one William Gates regarding the virtues of Xenix and how it was going to drive his company into the future. Wonder what happened to him?

    I doubt vey much that you'd get booked for doing a single kilometer/hour over the limit even in a 40 kph zone.
    You'd need to be doing 5 kph or more over the limit before you get a ticket.

    Remember it well It also had an optional colour printer - actually a 4 pen plotter. Made by Sharp for Tandy.

    I can't comment on the article's reliability but the Bigpond AUP states that more than 20 electronic messages in a 10 minute period is SPAM.
    Electonic messages include email, fax,SNS or ICQ

    Slightly off topic but what is the age of majority as it would apply to this new law? In Oz (at least in my state), such classification of video games has been in place since 1995. There are various categories, the most restrictive being MA15+ meaning mature adults over 15. As long as you are over 15, you can buy whichever game you like.

    I think the biggest technical advance that has affected my sports experience is the TV remote control. Now any time anything resembling sports appears on TV, I can change channels WITHOUT GETTING UP!

    You forgot you are running your guest OS as a completely seperate environment. This means your guest OS's need their own IP addresses.
