Resin includes a full-featured HTTP/1.1 web server dedicated to serving fast Java dynamic content. While Resin is tuned for dynamic content, its static file performance matches or beats Apache's static performance.
if you can afford the risk, then you definitely can afford a proper MP system.
as an aside, i ran 2 celerons until the p3's were affordable (and SMP capable). then i bought a pair spec'd at the max speed the main board could handle (933MHz) when ~1.4G were hot (i don't remember exactly, this is well over 2 years ago), and i'm still running the same computer as my primary machine. so i saved myself a lot of money by waiting some time instead of buying the top of the range p3's (which were 800Mhz when i actually started building it).
the good thing about standards is that there's so many to choose from
seen in a fortune
standards are nice, but have you ever wondered why the HURD is taking so long?

guess it depends on how much ram you want. if you want it for main memory in your computer, then yeah, it's cheap in the same way that it doesn't cost you much to fill your lawn mower with gas. however, if you're waiting for prices to come down so that something like, say a solid state HDD to become a serious contender in the market (as in priced as such), then this makes all the difference.
three points:
1. DMCA is AFAIK, a federal crime. Trade 1 song, as the law stands, and you are a criminal
2. Since when has prison reformed anyone?
3. From what I can tell, this was one of those "precedent" cases, where the state likes to make a point/set an example. Unfortunately, when the state likes to make a point, it tends to be heavy handed, especially when said points are non-violent.
I must admit, I got hooked on enlightenment when I saw screenshots of the "hand of god" theme.
I checked out fluxbox about a year ago and I stopped using enlightenment. Now while I'm still looking forward to checking out e17 once the wm is mostly finished, I agree that there's a point where all the eye candy just looks cheap and garish.
Could be that I'm just getting older, boring, don't have enough time to do
window dressing or all of the above.
Either that or the teletubby theme on XP ruined the whole concept for me. Functional is good.
please ensure that your media has their collective cameras on watching the fireworks from the safety of the HYATT for our viewing pleasure (when we aren't playing BF1942) and of course ensure that the sanitized militiary footage (that somehow avoids media scrutiny) DOES NOT show any civilians being blown up into little pieces. We cook our lunches on the servers. We left a 2U gap so we could also have grills.

two words:
tiger woods
i'd say the socks don't give a darn
that only works when the bonnet is not welded shut, with a large sign that says "bonnet is alarmed"
