tech. DirecTv also has them.... they dropped the tivo charge on your 2nd tivo (just a mirror fee), and if you subscribe to a specific level of programing or higher, the first one is free too...
I currently have 3 tivos, 2 DirecTivos (one moddifed to 150 or so hrs, one stock 30hr one) and one stand alone tivo (100 hrs).

great news none the less... but tivo deserves some support for being the first one out there that was easily modded.)
I agree in part with this.... *ALL* certifications aren't a waste, but the A+ certification sure as h*ll is, esp for people with more then a year of experience.
The trouble with (most) MCSEs are that they are book smart, but lack the experience to "think outside the box". Some CNE's are the same way (not as many though), so it's not purely a M$ problem (M$ now runs the A+ cert if I'm not mistaken... talk about the donkey and the cart....)
Or perhaps I'm just annoyed by jobs requiring an MCSE and an A+ certification... Maybe I should get my MCSE, but I know that shortly after taking those 7+ tests M$ will finally release the XP MCSE track...

Of course scientists have said (many times) that the earth goes through periods of warming and cooling, it's possible we are only speeding up this process...
Now what I'd like to know is if all these weather manipulating attempts are causing this F-ed up weather, and not so much the cars...
(here in California the emission standards are just insane)
Um, considering the *CARD* costs more then the tivo, and a computer that would be able to use this card costs easily as much as 3 years of tivo service it's not really an alternative to tivo. It's more like an upgraded tivo that's for computer people, this wouldn't be useful for the "Average person" however, I'm debating getting this card to archive FROM my tivo if the dazzle dvd creation station thing doesn't work:) But for most buyers this is overkill and too much work to watch their favorite tv show.

Seriously though folks, linksys routers are setup so that if a flash is NOT completely uploaded to the router it won't actually flash it, the flashing has an internal check from what I've heard.
I do however wonder wtf the advantage of reving to 1500 then dropping the clutch would be... in most modern cars this would be a rather slow stall-start..... hardly any advantage, but cool none the less:)
I have to wonder just how many slashdotters this will actually effect... very cool none the less...

for the WEEKEND (not the first day in star wars ep 2's case) it was shown in 3,161 theaters, for an avg of $27,254 PT.
For opening weekend of spiderman: 3,615 $31,769 (yes, the difference in theaters was 454.... screens might have been 1500 but theaters wasn't THAT different it seems)
why do I get the feeling that link gives the poster a certin amount of $ for every pre-order that it takes....
Do yourself a favor and if you want the movie go to one of the dvd price searchers and find it MUCH cheaper.
