I "leased" my cable modem too, and guess what? I just find out they've been charging me for leasing a cable modem since i subscribed! Now they tell me that there is "nothing they can do" Except of course, spend my money.

And of course AT&T just made it worthless to even own the modem now that they rasied rates/dropped leaseing charge.

For gods sakes, can no one figure out that Mbps is MegaBITS per second? NOT megabytes. Big difference because a T1 gets about 1.5 or so megs a second, whereas your bargon DSL at heh, 100 dollars a month translates 3Mbps into about 200-300K/sec. so lets look at this:
    1.5 Megs a second
    200-300 Kilobytes a second.

uhh... a T1 is more like 1.544 MEGS a second, Mbps = Megabits per second, so 2Mbps would be like ~200K/s

A virus is a program, it replicates and usualy destroys. Basicly it's behavior is that of a real virus. This, an exploit, is a problem with the program in existance or hardware. An exploit would be like if you had a trick knee, and hitting it would make you pass out (just a hypo-situation), now would that be a virus if someone acted on it?

i kind of, and kind of don't agree with you. But you are right.. if i make a fantastic painting and it sells for 4000 dollars, i don't get any more money after that. My work is done, my art is sold, and I get no royalties if it is sold from then, even for a profit. (i think, IANAL) Its not the same for music, but while they deserve money for each sold cd/record/ect, they do not necesarily deserve money because someone has a similer or non-plageristic bar in the middle of their song.

its patritism, our ancesters did it. These guys aren't strapping bombs to themselves, maybe you just don't understand what is happening in china right now but there are many movements like this one, these guys just happen to use technology and spiritual ways. Sure, it's a crime but thats only by the defenition of china, which i think does need to change. By revolt, or otherwise. The way things have been going i can see some sort of civil war on the horizon.

and i believe some palistinians are freedom fighters. but strapping bombs to yourselves, wives, children.. thats wrong, and your right in saying it is terrorism no matter what, and often destroys the point of what they're trying to achive.

you, are very wrong. If you are fleeing from the police and a person is killed or hit, or something goes wrong beacuase YOU ran, the person fleeing will be charged with manslaughter. The same logic applys to a situation that happened when i went to high school, a kid pulled the fire alarm as a joke and a 4 year old girl was hit by the fire engine that rushed to get to the school. The student was discovered covered in ink and charged with 1st degree involentary manslaughter. So yes, the catalaist IS at fault.

But i do not agree that the protesters are to blame as this is a different situation. And yes the media will blame the police, but criminaly it will be whoever initiated the problem.
