All you get is overweight, butch lesbians in flannel shirts, sweatpants and Birkenstocks!
But that triggers me.
Sorry, should have put up a warning first. But that leads to another question: is it the actual overweight, butch lesbians in flannel shirts, sweatpants and Birkenstocks that trigger you, or seeing the phrase "overweight, butch lesbians in flannel shirts, sweatpants and Birkenstocks" in writing that triggers you. And if so, how would you give a trigger warning for that?
Actually they can still have booth babes they just need to look professional. Personally a beautiful woman tastefully dressed is more of a turn on than the slutty look anyway.
I know you mean well, but you're completely missing the point.
He missed the point, but he did not mean well. That's why we can't have nice things.
Personally a beautiful woman tastefully dressed is more of a turn on than the slutty look anyway.
Then that will have to be banned as well. All you get is overweight, butch lesbians in flannel shirts, sweatpants and Birkenstocks! And if that turns you on, they'll switch over to information kiosks narrated by an asexual monotone computer. And if that turns you on, well, I don't know what they'll do.
They already have that freedom. What businesses don't have the freedom to do is to treat people differently on an arbitrary basis, and the government of Indiana is trying to change it so people can, via companies, treat others like shit on the basis of their personal superstitions, which is unjustifiable and destructive.
So what you're saying is that you don't want to know who those people are so you can give them your money?
At any rate, this nomination contest is going to determine a lot about the future direction and viability of the Republican Party, and it's not looking very promising for freedom-lovers everywhere.
What does it matter who gets the Republican nomination? The press has already coronated Hilary Queen of America. The Republican nominee has as much of a chance to become president as Lyndon LaRouche.
What about requiring voting, but simply including an "I abstain" option for each category?
I vote almost every single time, with the exception of some school board elections that I've missed, but if voting became mandatory, I think I'd refuse out of protest. It's just as wrong to force someone to vote as it is to prevent someone from voting.
Those who don't care or who want to protest can select "abstain" but it's now an active choice.
I would rather have None of the Above on the ballot, and if that option got the most votes, there would have to be another election, with the previous candidates ineligible.
So I'm curious where this backlog of awesome games are, or what you mean by awesome games, because right now, I can't think of any. But I'd like to know of any that might be worth my heading out and getting a PS4. I make occasional pop-ins at Gamestop to see the new releases, but so far nothing is tempting.
One new-ish game I got was Middle Earth: Shadows of Mordor. It's pretty fun, but make sure to get the PS4 version. I have the PS3 version, so it has laggy transitions. It will pause for a minute to load a 3 second cut scene, then pause another minute after that plays another 3 second cut scene, then pause another minute to switch back to the game. From what I understand, the PS4 doesn't have that issue at all. Watch Dogs was pretty fun, and I guess the PS4 version of that is even better, especially when it comes to the driving portion of the game. Dying Light is supposed to be pretty good if you're not tired of the whole zombie apocalypse thing.
Paying $900 for a phone that will last for two years - not for me!
I had my iPhone 4 for 4 years and it still worked perfectly well when I traded it in for my iPhone 6+. The only reason I upgraded was that I needed the phone to be able to run the most current OS for development purposes. The good trade-in prices on the iPhone 4 were an added incentive. I had considered handing it down to my wife, but ended up getting her a Samsung Galaxy Centra from Tracfone, since we didn't want 2 phones on the same plan for the outrageous costs. As soon as I finish with my contract, I'm going to move my iPhone to Tracfone as well.
Didn't know slashdot is capable of printing ß's (not that I know how to use that character!)
I think it's just a browser thing, not a Slashdot thing. The ess-zed (ß) is used in place of a double-s. "Ich muß schlafen" -> "Ich muss schlafen". It isn't used as much anymore, but I think it looks cool, so I still like to use it.
your organization already had FireFox & Chrome installed on their computers when you got there? My current employer does. Of course, they didn't have Opera, so I downloaded that, which I guess shows some initiative. But I only use Opera, Firefox & Explorer for testing code, Chrome is my main browser on the PC. On my MacBook Pro, I've downloaded FireFox & Chrome, but use Safari almost exclusively since I prefer the reader function that Safari has. I use Chrome if I want to check my work mail at home or on the road, and that's about it.
So they're going to destroy your reputation at a moments notice, by disclosing that they illegally spied on you and open themselves up to law suits.
Good luck with that. If you're in their crosshairs, you'll get bagged, tagged and shipped off to Gitmo, which is what would have happened to Snowden if was caught before he fled.
Nobody, especially the regulators. The question that I'm more concerned about is which services are voluntary, and which ones are compulsory. I use Google's search engine and Facebook, but I don't have to. There are a ton of alternatives to each for internet search and social media. The fact that they happen to be the largest/most popular should not make them subject to special rules.
So, I have two options. I can shut up and never talk to anybody about topics relevant to my profession, or I can through trial and error attempt to find a way to deal with uninformed Internet police mucking up topics they don't know anything about using only the most kindergarten of rule sets to distinguish shitposts from honest criticism.
Like you, there are things I like about Microsoft, and things I don't. I post criticism about Microsoft quite often and don't seem to run into the same problems as you. Perhaps they just don't take me seriously enough, considering I have very little (read: no) influence on other posters opinions on here.:shrugs:

"Creepy". Isn't that one of those sexist words that misandrists use to describe male sexuality?
they aren't misandrists, they're misanthropes. They hate everyone, including themselves.

They said the same thing about "junk" DNA. 10-15 years from now, it may no longer be apparent that you can do without them.
It's one thing to say "get out of my store you Christian moron". Because that would be illegal.
I think people should be able to do that.
Like they coronated her in 2008?
No, in 2008, the coronated Obama. It was so bad that SNL did a sketch on it.

Q. If your Android phone is unlocked, how easy is it to change the passcode?
You have to enter the old passcode before entering a new one, same thing to disable it altogether.
It goes in a database of course, so they can track your whereabouts.
No. It's sold to the advertisers.
More likely, both.

I think that a lot of people buy one system and stick with it because of the integration. Either you use hangouts, gmail, google calendar etc,
Google was kind enough to provide most of those things for the iOS ecosystem as well.

This cycle has been going at least since the invention of the radio and likely before.
Probably since the abacus?

Hopefully this article will help make it ubiquitous. Barbara Streisand effect in effect.
Needs to happen!

Face it, America is now being ran by people who don't believe the law applies to them.
Just now?

If she is so smart, then how come she got caught?
She didn't care, because she knows there won't be any consequences.
