I hear that the winner is blessed with good luck for the rest of the year. Except if it was your phone thrown into the water, in which case it's probably off to a bad start.

    Yeah but it was dealt with in I-Day; how many of you even watched the entirety of the credits of Independence Day to see that short scene afterwards that showed those two final surviving aliens bitching at one another that they had specifically used MacOS to control their systems because no one bothers to write trojans for them. Turns out the jokes on them. Stupid aliens.

    And if you want to get rid of built up snow, just chuck a 360 into the middle of it and turn it on. Shouldn't take long. I don't think that acutally playing a game on it actually warms it any more than it is while idle, it will melt snow regardless.

    One thing that is fairly clear about most of society's rules, it'd be a lot better for me if they applied to everyone but me.

    Strangely enough, isn't it this sort of thinking coming from the richer members of society that most of us bitch about? The people in positions of power/money that basically act like sanctioned criminals?

    Naive is being kinder than you should be. These people live in a magical land where people other than them want to work for free and where things not requiring money directly out of their own pocket to produce don't cost anything. And who will pirate everything the use and bitch and moan about more intrusive DRM and through around catch phrases like 'new business models' and draw comparisons between completely unrelated concepts (WRITING A BOOK IS JUST LIKE DEVELOPING A GAME HURR). You're wasting your time here.

    Wait, what, so the normal disc release of Dragon Age is (from what I've read) a cd-check only, but the DLC requires internet authentication constantly? Sigh, there goes me playing that game.
