  1. This. Is. Slashdot! on Keurig Stock Drops, Says It Was Wrong About DRM Coffee Pods · · Score: 1

There's still a few people posting "M$" and rambling about Sony's rootkited CDs (or whatever it was, I've forgotten the details already). Never underestimate the power or a slashdot grudge.

Haha. Sadly no. Google staggers their update roll outs. My N4 got the Lollipop update in mid February, a week before Samsung sent theirs out. Previous updates were much quicker so I'm starting to think that Google is delaying their updates to not piss off other manufacturers so much.

  4. Re:Nexus all the way on Google Can't Ignore the Android Update Problem Any Longer · · Score: 2

Yeah. My N4 got it's 5.0.x update a week before Samsung rolled it out to their phones. I think Google has been backing down on quick rollouts to not piss off manufacturers, which is sad to see, but that is the Android way.

  5. How about other watches/fitness trackers? on Tattoos Found To Interfere With Apple Watch Sensors · · Score: 2

So, now that we're all frothing at the mouth and getting our pitchforks, has anyone bothered to check if other smart watches or fitness trackers have same issues or it's only Apple's?

Just curious if this is something endemic to the entire category or only the technology Apple used in their watch.

And how many of those tattooed people have their tattoo right on their lower arm/wrist where it would interfere with the watch?

I bet it's a pretty small percentage of the already small(ish) percentage of Apple employees who have tattoos in the first place.

What music player doesn't support mp4s? You do know that for the past good few years iTunes music has been drm-free right? There are also lots of 3rd party apps that can connect into iTunes for syncing, though, yes, you would still need to spin up your VM and update everything, but that is a choice you made by running *nix. (I assume).

I think even my ancient Rio support mp4 just fine.

What about state/municipal services. It's not too far fetched to think that all the clerks in the whatever-departments-hands-out-business-licenses would refuse a gay person services so that they could start their own gay-friendly bakery.
