I have the Linksys AP before I brought the airport base station and I thought the same thing.. what am I paying for..
the coolest is the fact that software to administrate the basestation, setting up keys, etc is built in OS X, the program to update the firmware is built into OS X and the base station shares the printer via rendezvous.. it's awesome compare to the generic Linksys AP
This happened to a friend of mine and instead of shutting down, he went and brought 3 extra hard drives to increase the free space and basically let them have free access to the box.. (it was outside his firewall). He would move the warez into another box inside the firewall every few days and they didn't seem to mind..
instead of finding warez/pr0n/etc he got it delivered to his box
I use both a Linksys AP and an airport and I tell you, the airport is much much better.. it has a better range and my ibook talks directly to it.
I use a regular monitor, a tv and the build in display on my ibook (a Compaq 19" monitor if you want to know)
the "price myth" is one that all PC users use to justify not switching.

I don't have any extra hardware.. I have a very large hand me down plan.. each pc goes through at least 3 people before i finally take it apart for scrap parts.. and donate the motherboard/cpu/memory to friends in need

I feel that their latest patches/fixes/upgrades seem to be rushed out the door without much testing. A lot of the problems should have been ironed out in testing or even beta testing with users.
I would rather go out and read reviews posted by people who actually spent the money to buy the product and peer review it. I think that if 800000 people told me it's not good, I can trust at least 1% of them.
I think even traditional magazines are biased, or am i just paranoid?
I think the scam is that the smaller guys are willing to pay while the bigger guys are taking a wait and see approach. So at the end NOBODY is going to have a license, so when this whole pump-and-dump backfires on them, they won't be held responsible for the legal extortion they are doing.
They know that if they collect even one penny now, and they lose the suit, they will get their azz handed to them by the judge.. this is just a smoke and mirror show
i copied an entire DVD image (4.6gb) of my wedding from the external firewire drive to the internal drive, move one folder of imported video clips (about 1gb) to another external drive, while burning a dvd (another external drive) and i was surfing the web and listening to my itunes at the same time while some downloads were happening in the background
all this on my "lowly" g3 900mhz

I don't trust a lot of web "reviewers" anyway.

I think I have to agree that the game is too short. I finish it in 2 days and there is no multiplayer, so the replay value goes down a bit
Overall it's a great deal if you can offload it to somebody else after you are done
