    I always used

    1/3 = .33333....
    2/3 = .66666....

    1/3 + 2/3 = 3/3 .333333.. + .666666666.... = .999999.....

    My kid was in the hospital _everyone_ wanted updates. This makes it very easy.

    Take some pics/videos of my kids. I can post them. Other folks can check them out if they want to.

    This way I don't have to e-mail spam.

    I like to be able to follow the happenings of friends without e-mail/phone.

    All that being said I rarely update and spend about 30 minutes a week on facebook.

    In my mind that 30 minutes is well worth it.

    I want to use OS/2 back in '95 back IBM priced it too high for me($250 I think).

    Ironically, MS is doing the same thing with Windows 7, simply priced too high for me. So I stick to XP and linux.

    Overpriced for you. Products are not over-priced if they sell well, which apple products appear to do.

    I second your remarks. If prices were allowed to rise according to supply and demand, then companies would make sure gas got to NC, thus lowering prices.

    I would agree. I bought my DVD burner because it came with Nero. Luckily that DVD burner has been rock solid cause the latest nero stuff sucks.
    My previous nero was great though I don't remember the version.

    The black population has the same problem that the Appalachian people have.

    Education is not a priority.

    Yes, there are plenty of people in both groups that truly care about education is it just that the percentage is smaller.

    Stats don't take into account the pressure that would build on a person as the streak got higher.

    If you have ever had to hit free throws at the end of a basketball game you know what I mean.

    To have that pressure over the course of a few weeks would be unbelievable and draining but emotionally and physically.

    Even if one had the skill I don't know how many people could take the pressure.

    It is also doesn't seem to account for pitching match-ups, weather, etc.

    Hitting streak is where you get at least one hit every game.

    So it is possible that the team could walk you every at bat and you lose you hitting streak.

    Why dissect a joke?

    Almost everyone I know in America is not crazy about the "English" system.
    But we have grown up with it, especially Fahrenheit and miles.
    We are getting better knowing how much a liter is or how long a cm is, but not Celsius and Kilometers.
