But I don't understand why they are doing this sort of thing.

Do they feel their hold is strong to not worry about folks dumping MS products.

If you wanted MS to go bankrupt, I would think product activation would be your great hope.

Or do they feel they can keep their hold on big businesses and who cares if a few users or small businesses look elsewhere?

    Any insight?

    3. Stop eating when they are full

Since most people are #1, can't do #2, if you have to go with #3.
But losing weight is quite simple.
When you are full stop eating, and don't eat again until you are hungry again.

I know it is much much harder than it sounds. But this seems to be the only reasonable way to lose weight and keep it off. These low carb or low fat diets seem to be alot of work, and I can't believe they are the most healthy diets.
Plus, if you teach yourself to stop when you are full, don't eat until you are hungry, it becomes easy to lose or mantain weight yet you still eat generally what you want, just not as much of it.

In other games(real basketball) when someone makes a nice move or shot/pass, I tell them so(Complimenting other players seems to keep egos in check, and thus more fun)

    1. Better hardware support(true)

I have nothing against Linux, Windows, or FreeBSD. I use Linux at work, FreeBSD and Windows at home.

It seems to me the FreeBSD makes a server than Linux, but Linux is a better workstation. Linux is getting much better(server stuff) every year. Alot like Windows is getting much better at server stuff each year.

But in the end I think the media and the early BSD license issue are the big reasons. Also, BSD seems a little more of a closed circle while Linux is a free for all. Maybe developers found it easier to involved with.
