Although, by the time it becomes as lightweight and almost as small as a few times the size of a PDA it may not be referred to as a laptop anymore, unless it has a 13"+ display.
I'd love to have a fully functional computer which has Internet access and phone communication capabilties. Have the hardware in my pants or underneath my shirt, keyboard in my pocket, headset on my head.
Bah...I'm completely morphing the initial idea into my cyborg dream, although, I could expan upon the dream, but, you get the idea.
You have to admit Windows is an easy to use operating system since the majority of the people have used it since 1995 and earlier. To make Linux as popular or overcome Windows will take advertising to all people how easy it is to use and do everything that can currently be done on Windows; for home usage anyways.
Basically, just determine what Windows users do with their operating system, and make it easy for those same users to do the same thing on Linux and the switch may be easier for them.
A few months ago I fooled around with Linux trying to make it my primary operating system on one of my computers, but failed miserably. I didn't enjoy having to research and learn exactly how to install each RPM package or find out what libraries I needed to install. Although, having an initial installation of the o/s to solve all the problems would be great. I tried SuSe 6.3 Pro (I purchased the 8-cd package) and it was a nice package, but, I had a few problems with installing a few packages of software I downloaded from the Internet.
Basically, I'd like to have all the mainstream products available on the Windows platform, available for the Linux platform. Until then, I don't think I'll be using Linux as a primary computer or on all of my computers.
They are of the same community as you. Without their skills (which you may have to and help them with by applying for a job with them) the game would cease to exist (or at least any further enhancing of the game).

Windows 95 was not dependent on Internet Explorer nor Windows Media Player. In fact, a fresh install of Windows 95 installed Internet Explorer 1.0. Also, you can't even view Microsoft's website with the browser and have a heck of a time trying to access any microsoft website for upgrading (although you can easily download another browser). I'm sure it's very easy to offer a stripped down O/S, but, it will come at a cost of Microsoft losing its business strategy and possibly being the final "dot-com" bomb; although it's more than a "dot-com."
One of the key roles of corporate management is to wisely reinvest whatever money the business generates to fuel ever-increasing profits.
If they continue reinvesting and they continue making a profit, will they eventually own all the money that exists in the world leaving nothing for others?

Then again, disregard the entire mention of "Laptop." I'd have the display integrated into my glasses.

Gray goo?
That sounds like cement to me. Yep, rubbing wet cement all over your body would certainly block your skin from the sun's uv rays.

Alienware offers excelent gaming machines including a new laptop model released not too long ago.
I believe your sister has already compromised the system.
Damn it! You screwed up the display of the page! Grrrrr!!!
I'm hoping people will describe their approaches, and why they think they're (not) the best."
Why whould you think we're not the best? How self-degrading do you thing we are?
Now perhaps I can finally hear complete silence when I play lowercase music on my computer.

Now if the site were MacDot, perhaps you'd get the url correct.
As of right now macslash.com is 63.238.196.105
Try this instead.
And here's the definition of Microsoft.
A parabola comes to mind. That would be nice.

Now I can seriously compute 24/7.

Damn it...I'm getting modded down too often now. Where are your ppls sense of humor? I'm going to cry.
[/sarcasm] Eeek! I was modded down? :-(

Uhm, at the bottom of the "main page" you can read "Not affiliated with the Paul M. Hebert School of Law."
