    Why would it take that long? How inefficient is your oil production plant?

    Hydrocarbons is still the best way to move energy around. And the molecule is basically carbon and hydrogen. No crazy elements needed. Why not make our own?

    The reason this hasn't been looked into, is because it's far cheaper to mine it out of the ground or extract it from coal and shale. Assuming those processes become impossibly expensive, then making our own using production plants powered by renewable energy, or even nuclear, is a distinct possibility.

    You're absolutely right. Which is why they didn't Ban Burqas.

    You're simply not allowed to wear a Burqa in a situation where someone is required to view your face.

    Things like a Driver License, which is a photo ID.

    Yes, they can't do it like they did in the old days, through the power of the Kings. But it seems to me that the only reason you don't see them declaring a Holy War on anyone is because they simply haven't. Not because they can't.

    If they had to generate more revenue, who do you think they'll go after? People who struggle against them and try to hide their income, or the people who just pay up?

    Yep. To get everything out of Eve, you have to treat it like a second job. Not like something you can pop on and have some fun for 20 minutes, then leave.

    Which is why I stopped playing Eve and switched to TF2.

    You have a lot of theory, but I don't see what you're talking about in my life.

    Less "Buying power"? Well, so what? That only affects the luxury goods at this point. Things I can (and should) be living without.

    I have no problem buying a used car. Living in a small place until I need it. And I'm definitely never moving to NY or CA because of the cost of living there.

    You can enjoy life a lot more if you stop worrying about things to buy and taking care of the things you bought.

    It's quite a change, snd they don't even know if SSDs will surpass platters.

    The price was what I had a problem with.

    It was estimated the phone cost 180$ to make. If they were selling them for 360$ I would have bought one by now.

    530$ is far too much for something that might last two years.

    They modeled the bill after the unenforced Federal law. It's perfectly legal.
