How do you feel about companies such as PanIP using patents as a basis for lawsuits rather than innovation? Will you make intellectual 'property' a campaign issue?

I love the looks on people faces when I tell them that the result of elections using 'voting machines' are suspect and why. The nice thing is that so many have had child pornography/spyware/trojans/virii placed on their computers without their knowledge; they have had first hand experience at being 'hacked' and are ready to believe.

  18. Some more details of the theft on Consumer Database Company Hacked · · Score: 2, Funny
According to another insider with access to the data, the man responsible for stealing this info had to scale a 3 foot wall, distract a cocker spaniel with ADD, open a squeaky door, and play Whack-a-Mole until he got the high score to get access to where the data was stored.

He then had to play tic-tac-toe against a chicken, and decide if 'Eliza' passed the Turing test to actually acces the data.

Once it was fully printed on tractor feed paper, he then had to bribe a small child with Pokemon cards, and juggle three rolls of tape and sing 'You Are the Wind Beneath My Wings' in front of Ryan Seacrest in order to abscond with the wheelbarrel full of printouts.

I think we can all agree that security was not at issue here, it certainly had to be an inside job.

For those who responded to this post, I will be getting a box full of CDs this weekend and will start sending them out - thanks to all who emailed me about getting a CD, the response was fantastic!

In other news, we are talking with a lawyer and hope to have some news soon about our status on buymusic.com.

After some homework, we did *not* sign anything with 'The Orchard'. We had our CDs manufactured by a company called 'Oasis', and agreed for a song to be put on a sampler. That's it.

'The Orchard' and buymusic.com are blatantly violating copyright in the worst way (selling the infrigements).

Personally, I don't care if this CD is on p2p (I plan to make files available after this is taken care of), but when someone charges for these songs without our knowledge and pockets the proceeds, that is not cool.

Thanks again for all those who emailed for a CD and to chat about it, many more are available, so feel free to contact me and buy one ($5+shipping) if you like the samples.
