    That is crap. My girlfriend, never plays FPS games, was able to get an ok rank within a few minutes of playing. Quake 3 is NOTHING compared to say Tribes as far as complexity.

    wow this game is really quite good for free. It is like A tale in the Desert and has some nice wavy grass, reflections and thick foliage. You need a hefty graphics card to take all the settings, but its fine on low settings too.

    yes, you will need it to do windows update. Do not try to remove IE. Mainly we are talking about removing the "Shortcut icons" for IE
    Just install Firefox and rename its desktop icon to INTERNET.

    I hate spam so much that I would take action against spammers of any sort.
    I max out my spam filtering and block a lot of common spam tricks outright.
    I do waste a fair amount of time blocking spam and checking that nothing was accidentally blocked. Although I think it is time well spent because I am blocking it from other people too.
    If I knew how to track down the spam that did get through, then I would be waging war on those people for sure. They piss me off. I hate it.
    If I got spammed to vote Bush, or Kerry I would not give a rats ass because I am not American and it doesn't matter what I think because I can't vote for either of them. I do have an opionion and I hope others have the same opionion but I don't think that vote spam would do anything at all.

    I though the Real codec was only allowed to be in applications which support Real only.
    e.g. It plays only Real or it doesn't play Real at all.
    so how can they allow iPods to play Real files when the iPod also plays other codecs?

    Wow weird, I was thinking about Great Escape over the last few days - almost trying to play it again but fearing that it wouldn't live up to the nostalgia as so often happens. Remeber the good old days? yeah they sucked bad.

    Also need another fix of that bouncing halloween pumpkin game, that was weird.

    I really hate it when people go on about how IE is the only browser that renders all sites properly. More like it is the only browser that webdesigners work their butts off tying to design webpages that render properly on it.

    I get sick of trying to hack around the IE bugs and non-standards.

    Sometimes on websites I like to put in a white PNG with stuff written in the alpha channel, so that only the BROKEN SUPPORT OF PNG IN INTERNET EXPLORER actually shows the message to all the IE users. It is about how their browser does not support the latest PNG technology. Because IE sux d00d! upgrade to firefox now!

    what's that? oh wow IE doesn't support translucency in CSS backgrounds, oh too bad for you then. IE SUX d00d

    when people pay $200 for something they expect it to damn well work - if it causes your $2000 appliance to become totally useless then anger can be justified right?
    if more people used linux then more people would be making it easier for non-techs to use - so just BE PART OF THE SOLUTION and stop defending corporations, they wont be defending YOU when it comes to the crunch.
