Maybe I overlooked it or I'm just slow, but I didn't really see anything talking about what platform the browsers were on. With more and more people using smart-phones, it seems like that might be an important piece of info, especially if ff is not a cinch to install.
Towards the end of college, I had to take a "general" class to graduate. I ended up taking "intro to music" since I had played in concert band throughout middle- and high-school. The teacher had some hands-on activities planned for the class and figured out pretty quickly that I had a clue as to what I was doing and ended up using me as a TA for the rather large class. It was actually kind of fun helping out, and when I showed up for the final she thanked me for my help, said I had an A, and then excused me.
I don't know that removing the laptops would necessarily help. My gf is in school for nursing and she complains a lot about people who are slow to understand or ask "stupid" questions -- i.e. questions that were already covered during that class, or were covered in the readings (that were assigned to be completed before that class).
Upon a report of a suspected lost, stolen or missing laptop, the feature was activated by the District's security and technology departments. The tracking-security feature was limited to taking a still image of the operator and the operator's screen. This feature has only been used for the limited purpose of locating a lost, stolen or missing laptop. The District has not used the tracking feature or web cam for any other purpose or in any other manner whatsoever.
They're a little too vague for us to know the exact circumstances. Thanks for the link, though.
My car has been hit once by a motorist failing to yield at the AC Airport circle. There have been plenty of other times when someone did something stupid (and illegal) and stepping on the brakes was the only way I avoided a collision. I absolutely hate the circle in Somers Point. I honestly have never witnessed someone coming off the bridge yield to traffic in the circle. Sometimes during the summer, though, I like to go have a bite at the Point Diner and just watch the tourists get all jammed up.
My girlfriend experienced this recently. She started college when she was 22 or 23, and has been living on her own since she was 18. She applied for financial aid and was denied because her parents made too much. Even when she qualified to not have their income taken in to account, she was denied the bulk of financial aid because she busted her ass previously and worked full-time while attending school. The real kicker, though, is that her school refuses to certify loans, so it's unrealistic for her to get 3rd-party loans either.
Further, the study was designed to simulate people walking and had built-in pauses where entities would stop (to tie a shoelace or talk or whatever). How often do you see that sort of behavior on the highway?
While acknowledging that you DO have a valid point, I'd like to draw your attention to that fact that 100 Km/h is roughly 60 mph. Unless you meant 100,000 mph?
It's been a while since I looked at any stuff like this, but I believe that to become a US citizen you have to renounce citizenship to all other countries. The exception is if a country does not allow you to renounce your citizenship, in which case you get a dual-nationality. I'm not sure how citizens-by-birth are affected by this.
Employees set neither prices nor policy. I fail to see how yelling at them helps the situation at all. If you're pissed, go ahead and ask to speak to a manager. Go ahead and spread the word concerning these "deals". But really, have some sympathy for the poor schlub who's just trying to make ends meet.
My understanding of bby's system is entirely second-hand, but the opportunity to correct behavior and a "warning" system is how the company works.
Basically to be fired you have to MAJORLY fuck up, or get four warnings for the same improper behavior within 90 days. For example, if I fail to "properly" offer a service- or replacement-plan then my sup or senior may pull me aside to walk me through the proper method. If I'm observed later not properly offering the plans, I may get a write-up. Say I'm out not dressed according to code: write-up. I decide not to go to work one day: write-up.
Your third warning within the time period *for any specific offense* is your final warning. And if you just watch your ass for a while, the slate gets wiped clean. I'm under the impression that it's not very easy to fire a full-time employee due to a lot of red-tape and technicalities.
Also no access to built-in WiFi or Bluetooth hardware (VM doesn't export it)
Not true. Yellowdog has had wifi drivers in place for several months now, and I got wifi running on a Gentoo install on my PS3 as well. I haven't attempted it, but I've read that other people have accessed the bluetooth hardware as well and even gotten the PS3 controllers working in Linux. (Link, though I haven't tried it myself or even really read over it.;))
In some respects, it seems exactly like installing Linux from floppies.
In the olden days, you swapped the boot and root floppies; here you swap the hard drives, which indeed is somewhat complicated, as in "I wouldn't trust my grandmother to do it right" (not grandfather, though!).
It's not required that you swap harddrives. If you choose to use the existing harddrive in your PS3, you just have to format it to repartition.
I was playing in the beta for a bit and was pretty unimpressed. It's not a horrible game, by any means, but not worth my $50 let alone $15 a month. I had a lot of fun playing at first, then around lvl 19 they patched the game, deleted all characters, and the gameplay just was not enticing enough for me to make it very far. I since then cancelled my pre-order. I might buy the game when it goes gold, but they've got a lot of work to do in the meantime. My major gripes are the repetitive and simple (i.e. easy) gameplay and lack of variety for items.

C++ FAQ Lite
I used this site a bunch when I found myself doing some c++ work after almost exclusively working in java.

Or a trap.
You've been listening to Admiral Ackbar too much.

Close but not quite...

OMGWTFBobbq? Sorry, I could not resist. :(

The layout has been bothering me too, but I had no idea we could revert to the our view. Thanks!
This used to be the only game we would play on my friend's dreamcast. Myself, I have two copies of it for ps2.
Wouldn't that be a mebibotnet.
I dunno... mebbe?

I don't want to sound gay or anything, but unicorns KICK ASS!
How can it have the ability to quickly download pr0n when it can't even get on the net?
Just a short thought: should the fact that he is an "ordinary citizen" really matter?

Radeons are produced by ati; the geforce is an nvidia product.
