Physically printing money doesn't do anything to the economy? If the government printed out five billion dollard and gave it to me, that wouldn't do anything? I'm sure that the influx of cash to my local economy might have a little affect, can we say inflation?
When little Joey wants his Disney fix in HD, and the parents find out it's only to be had on BR, guess what wins?
How about that the parents can say no to little Joey's request? They don't have to buy everything that the kid wants.
As there will most likely be a non-confidence vote passed this week, anything introduced now is quite futile, and the government knows it. They will throw this out there and then show it as an example of the "wonderful" legislation that will be lost if they are defeated.
How far can this go? If you can be guilty for linking to a site, what about linking to a site that links to a site? And so on... there needs to be a point where you can't be expected to have control.
Still requires more deskspace though. The monitors here share a single arm, which means that you can put more things around them (if your desk is cluttered) or you can use a smaller desk or table to put the monitor on.
Yes, but we want to be accurate. I've used closed captioning quite a bit because my TV defaults to it when muted -- quite a few errors! 250 WPM comes at a cost of accuracy. I'm sure that the Morse Code operators are more accurate by a long shot!
yes, but it is easier said than done to join some organizations. I'm sure Microsoft won't be too accepting of your efforts to join up (you have to apply like everyone else) whereas with some projects you can go ahead and contribute what you feel is missing.
Companies won't change if there's no incentive; they have to be shown that it will help them out in measured ways, or until they're eventually forced to do it by everyone else.
They won't be an early adopter otherwise.
Microsoft shouldn't HAVE to bundle antivirus with Windors OR sell it in stores! They should have an operating system that is secure and isn't open to viruses.

Nope. Gomery has only disallowed the publication of what's going on. You can attend, find out what's going on and discuss what's going on with your friends all you like. All that's going on is he doesn't want the media to publish it, so as not to taint any possible jury (criminal charges are pending). This fiasco is one of the most interesting things to Québecers so he doesn't want everyone to know everything by watching TV or reading the newspaper. But if you or a friend want to make the effort to find out what's going on and actually attend, good for you!
The US Government and it's judicial system has seen fit to cover international websites in it's law sometimes. When will the time come to sue a webpage from another country because a blind person from the US couldn't read it? It's not going to end soon, unfortunately.
When he has the dialog between the Blacktron and the Space Police, he got it wrong. They're both Blacktron, there were two types of them. The one in mostly black was the old school version, and the one with the B was the newer one.

Starting with Longhorn? Feh. What about XP? You have "Home", and "Professional". I'd say that's starting to get pretty descriptive.

Will it's main feature be a reassuring "Don't Panic" on the cover?
If Sony and Microsoft both back out of launching ... how big of a market share will Nintendo get if they launch the Revolution?
Send everyone a slightly different system, all unique in some minor way ... that way you can easily narrow it down when features leak.
You: "Exactly?" Him: "Yes." You: "I'm sorry, my spedometer is only precise to plus or minus XX km/h or mph (depends on how well you can read it)."

But how long will it last?
