    Physically printing money doesn't do anything to the economy? If the government printed out five billion dollard and gave it to me, that wouldn't do anything? I'm sure that the influx of cash to my local economy might have a little affect, can we say inflation?

    As there will most likely be a non-confidence vote passed this week, anything introduced now is quite futile, and the government knows it. They will throw this out there and then show it as an example of the "wonderful" legislation that will be lost if they are defeated.

    Still requires more deskspace though. The monitors here share a single arm, which means that you can put more things around them (if your desk is cluttered) or you can use a smaller desk or table to put the monitor on.

    Yes, but we want to be accurate. I've used closed captioning quite a bit because my TV defaults to it when muted -- quite a few errors! 250 WPM comes at a cost of accuracy. I'm sure that the Morse Code operators are more accurate by a long shot!

    yes, but it is easier said than done to join some organizations. I'm sure Microsoft won't be too accepting of your efforts to join up (you have to apply like everyone else) whereas with some projects you can go ahead and contribute what you feel is missing.

    Companies won't change if there's no incentive; they have to be shown that it will help them out in measured ways, or until they're eventually forced to do it by everyone else. They won't be an early adopter otherwise.

You can attend, find out what's going on and discuss what's going on with your friends all you like. All that's going on is he doesn't want the media to publish it, so as not to taint any possible jury (criminal charges are pending). This fiasco is one of the most interesting things to Québecers so he doesn't want everyone to know everything by watching TV or reading the newspaper. But if you or a friend want to make the effort to find out what's going on and actually attend, good for you!

    The US Government and it's judicial system has seen fit to cover international websites in it's law sometimes. When will the time come to sue a webpage from another country because a blind person from the US couldn't read it? It's not going to end soon, unfortunately.

    Starting with Longhorn? Feh. What about XP? You have "Home", and "Professional". I'd say that's starting to get pretty descriptive.
