A worse version of Super Pitfall exists!

I noticed that the NES version of Super Pitfall is on the list way up at number two. Yet a worse version exists, sadly....
And that would be the version that was released for the Tandy Color Computer 3. I never played the NES version but I do own still the CoCo version. I imagine it has all the bad gameplay of the NES version. But I can't imagine the NES version playing as sluggishly as the CoCo version. I mean this game runs slooooooooooow.
I don't remember when we got it... I mostly used it for games.
As I recall my favorite was Pooyan by Konami on cassette (CLOADM "POOYAN"). But I also had (well, I still have all this stuff) a bunch og cartridges like Demon Attack and Dragonfire... Imagic made the best ones.
If they're getting out too far to where they can't transmit all the way, we could be sending out smaller cheaper "relay" satellites to send the message back to Earth.

How exactly is HotBot generating these results?
It doesn't look like they're just stealing other search engine's results (as someone pointed out, google and hotbot google gave different results for the same search)...
So are the four choices now on HotBot just a matter of giving the user different options to sort through the same results (like Google for most linked sites and Inktomi for pages with the most recurring words on a topic) or what?
Whatever they spent on the design and making of such thing has to be seen as wasted spending. It did not relate the the product of the company, and it likely hurt the company's ability to retain employees.
Hey, he never said where he works. Maybe he works for a bobblehead making company.
Well I don't think that's the point of why this story got submitted.
It's not about just stopping some counterfeiters. It's about the RIAA sounding stupid by manipulating the numbers. Why?
I can only guess it's to make people more afraid. Like "oooh, they're really going after these guys." But then again it might have a greater effect if that was their goal to make it sound like a lesser number. Hmmm, soon they'll crack down on me for owning one CD copier.

I thought A.I. was really good. Except for the ending with the aliens, (oops) I mean super-advanced robots of the future. That was the only mistake. He should have known by making the future robots look like a sterotypical "grey" alien that people wouldn't get it probably. I left the theater wondering why the hell we had aliens thrown in there for the hell of it at the end. I was not informed about it until a few weeks later. Makes more sense now I guess.
It's interesting because it is true. I think about my own experiences where I feel sort of helpless to stop something that I clearly have control over. Sometimes you just feel like it's out of your hands because it appears to have a momentum of its own. However in reality you can stop and reverse it at any time. It seems like it pertains to lots of things in life including drugs, crime, apathy, eating disorders, gambling addictions, etc.
Ahhhh Top Stoppard... I sure do love good old Top...
Actually though he's really cool. R&G Are Dead is a good movie (and who coudln't love Gary Oldman!) and a good book, too. He also I believe had a hand in my favorite movie of all time, the Terry Gilliam film "Brazil".
Hmmmm.... heads again.
I own an Antique Sound Labs MG-SI15DT stereo tube amp (2x KT88 and 2x 12AX7).
When I got it from a friend it had some nice Svetlana KT88 tubes which had a pretty hazy blue glow inside. So pretty.
Well... I was cleaning off stuff in my room one day. And I was using windex. I guess I didnt wait too long before I had switched off my amp before I wiped stuff down because I heard a *crack*.
Anyone ever set down a hot flask on a cold counter in science class?
Well, I turned on my amp and a lighting storm was going off inside that tube! And it made a horrible noise. Freaky thing was my PC was turned on about 10 feet away and when I turned on my amp my computer started beeping nonstop and it froze up until I turned off my amp again.
Some sort of freaky radiation.
Anyway, with a crack in the glass your vacuum tube ceases to be a vacuum tube.
I've seen it numerous times, I'm a huge fan of Gilliam's.
I interpreted the ending as not being able to change the future (Cole's death), virus spreads and the future happens as it did the "first time".
As for the scientist, I just assumed she hadn't time-traveled at all. I figured that was her before she became a scientist (I figured some of those scientists resulted out of necessity and not personal motivation). The vial was opened in the airport but not in the plane so I thought maybe she just hadn't gotten infected.
Oh well. Many ways to interpret the ending. Some more plausible than others. I just hadn't given it a second thought until now though.

3. Can't get them to stop billing you.. call your credit card company and have them stop accepting the charges.. The ISP will come looking for thier money and at that point you will have someone to talk too
I work for a creditcard company's cust service dept. If the charge is recurring it's actually I guess legally a contract with the merchant that the credtcard company can not break. The only way to cancel is with the merchant. Even closing out the account or setting up a new acct# will not prevent the charge from going through if its a subscription (contract).

I was just about to post the same thing. I hated the playstations graphics compared to the N64... good thing I saved myself a (-1: redundant).
Hey I'm only 21 and I know what it does. My CoCo2 was my first computer. (Now I also have a CoCo3 with 512k.)
That actually doesn't sound like a bad idea.

Is there such a big difference? Fans regardless, right? Or is it a level of fandom thing? I think I saw you last night at a wedding party.
I applaud your grammatically correct post, and I wonder how many times you reviewed it to make sure it was correct. I'd be nervous.

This is the exact tube they show in the pictures at HardOCP: a Sovtek 6922.

Who needs Max Headroom when you've got a Tandy Color Computer! You got the funky mutli-color, seizure-inducing cursor!
(my first comp was a CoCo2 with 64K)
Our of curiosity... what's the last part of your subject "a rose is but a rose..."?
It's similar to something Shakespeare said... but not.
