Just think of the dumb people that will get talked into this by salesmen.
"Oh yeah, you NEED 14 speakers to really hear the movie like it was meant to be"
We just replaced around 50 3Com Superstack 3 switches at work. The have a lifetime replacement warranty but they still suck.
The are noisy and the fans/powersupply fail all the time. We were sending them back at a rate of one every 2 weeks on average. Last year we had 21 of the suckers fail.
Hopefully the new Cisco stuff we got turns out to be better...
Voice actors are different than normal actors though. They don't have to keep in shape or worry about their looks since they aren't seen. They don't even have to memorize their lines, because they read the damn script. All they have to do is show up and read out loud for a few hours and they are saying $125,000 isn't enough for that. Seems like greed to me.
My Cabinet cost me around $1200 canadian to build, and that includes the TV and computer unlike the X-Arcade. The X-Arcade is for people with more money than time. I found building the thing at least as much fun as playing on it.
That some expensive shit.
Plumbing isnt that hard to do aside from gas fittings. I've actually thought about doing it too since I know they get paid well. I just didn't know it was THAT much.
The reason is because MD is actually pretty successful. Maybe not so much in the US market, but in Japan where you can buy blank MDs at 7-11 and Circle K.
Are you more worried about privacy than the cancer you can get by carrying aound a cell phone?
Soon you will see reverse look-ups with this. "Let's see who the owners of the cell phones are who are in the red-light district. Maybe we can blackmail them."
Many of the items on that list are indeed annoying and are things that I disable on browsers I use.
For myself, unless I really, really want to see something on a particular web-site, if I can't veiw the page with my normal browser settings (java disabled, no flash, no cookies, etc.) I usually just say "screw it" and look for a similar site that works without all the annoyances
Look at / Ask about the product's warranty before you buy. If it isn't at least 2 years, you'll likely have to replace it soon. Do some research and see what other people say about the product and their experiences before rushing off to buy that gadget.
Don't get sucked into paying extra for extended warranties from the reseller either.
Ok so I can buy this P4 with "hyperthreading" to emulate 2 processors or, I can go buy 2 Athalon MP 2200+ processors and a motherboard for less money....
Because Intel is scrambling to have something in place for when AMDs Hammer comes out. There might not be a big need for the 64 bit versions, but to leave the field to the competition is a no-no.

Its the sugar in the 3-4 cans of coke that made the difference for you there, not the caffeine. Thats a ton of calories.
Eat less, Shit more

Not all of them. Many of the new ones come from Germany, Fab 30 in Dresden has been voted "Fab of the Year"
Maybe he works in Japan, where employees typically get nice fat bonuses (equal to about 3 months salary) twice a year.
Funny thing that they get a judgement against them, yet their stock goes up...

unlikely to work
