... when theres such a simple explanation.

dinosaurs slowly became gourmets and started enjoying a little of that certain herbs with their brontasaurus cooked blue (very, very rare), slowly the dinasours included more and more of the herbs and grasses with their meats, adapting to eating their greens, until some widespread disease or other catastrophe killed off most of their walking food.

those that had been eating the more fashionable foods had over the millenia evolved to be able to get by on greens, whilst those that had stuck with traditional food got hungry, weak and died.

its all about trends... well, not really, but you know...

dogs and cats seem to eat grasses as well (and dogs that arent homeless will eat anything, those that are tend to be more careful)

perhaps increase the composite, instead of having steel rods running through concrete, have steel rods running through the more elastic concrete, which, in turn, runs through standard brittle concrete. this would, perhaps, allow for a more gradual exertion of damaging forces on the various materials. seems to be logical, no?

Neko the Kitty - the fillers (square and circle) are hilarious, havent seen anything else near as amusing
Real Life - good most of the time though occasionally has bad patches
Strip Tease Comic - scarce updates a common occurance though quality of the comic makes up for it
Sinfest - daily updates (weekends included), absolute genius most of the time though the strips on stage to make me wince
Penny Arcade - do i need to comment?
Shaw Island - havent been visiting as much of late (still catching up after the summer) but nice simultanious run of abstractly intertwined worlds, worth a read
    Megatokyo - a must
SomethingPositive - dark, funny, occasionally a bit too real. love it
Ctrl+Alt+Delete - brilliant, well updated to boot
8-Bit theatre - lost its spark of late and updates can come very rarely, earlier strips significantly better than the current offerings

Id recommend any and all of these, especially sinfest and square and circle from neko the kitty. i personally like penny Aarcade most of the time though occasionally i can see why people wouldnt

little statistics coursework on female views on the male form, turns out that its also a good way to meet girls :) had a questionaire-type thing associating females views of the "perfect" male and female bodies using magazine covers for examples.

girls tend to like the bodies of guys on the fron of 'mens health' or 'mens fitness' as opposed to 'muscle and fitness' or 'extreme body' type mags. "swimmers body" is the most often heard expression, watch the olympics, youll get the idea.

though as with most things views vary, some of the girls with the most typical views of a female body had extreme views on men.

there are women out there who find "big violent muscley type" men most attractive, though they are few and far between. most women are put off by it.

another survery (carried out on a decent sized sample, not resticted to a sample of a few hundred like mine) found that womens and mens views on muscle varied by about 5-10kg (11-22 pounds). that is, a man thought he looked best with 5-10kg more muscle than a woman thought he looked ideal with. slight simplification.

    but yeh...
