I "removed" IE using the Add/Remove programs and using Set Program Access Defaults, set my browser to Opera. After a while, I noticed some pages don't load properly because of the "Best when viewed with IE" message. I uninstall Opera. Now when I click on any links, nothing happens. WinXP does not which browser to load anymore even though I have Mozilla installed on the system. I don't even see Mozilla as an option to set it as default. Is this delibrate, or not, you decide.
This is definitely a move that will help push Linux further into everyday use. I wonder how soon Microsoft/Isreal will 'compromise' to help make the deal?
Considering the number of people that use these batteries and number of people that overcharge, I don't see a trend at all, just people that don't know how to use a device properly
I have not been in this country for a long time, and I am not read the LOTR books completely. But I for one don't understand why the directors can't tell the story exactly as it is in the books. I am still reading everyday and find the book very interesting, and so is the movie, but somehow, I feel like deviating from the books is just not right
They are horrible machines, they are. My previous company had bought them, though I don't know why? I guess ppl will anything if it is cheap enough. They had all sorts of problems and never worked properly.
Yes, there is. Check this article out!

You could try the same thing, if you are so into violence
What about when you are on the road. Its great that you have a computer around the house, but when snapping pictures on the road, how are we able to format the media, then?
This is the "long arm" of the US Of America. It will reach all over the world. They just have to dangle a carrot called money/trade in front of most countries and they will automatically comply.
It seems that senators now-a-days can be bought soooo easily. A big corporation throws some money their way and asks them to lobby behind whatever the hell their agenda is. The media is going to eat this up and "advertise" all day, and preach to the people how wrong it is to swap movies. A few people go to jail and then what? They drive their customers away even farther.
Yeah. The moment the writers give themselves in, they would be charged with millions of $ worth of damages. Then I am sure it will help to have 250K. Sure
It will be cold day in hell before you can get some of people out of their cars. Not just in America, but everywhere, people enjoy the convienece of having a car, and one that doesn't cost too much. As long as running on petrol is cheaper than alternatives, oil will always be #1
My new systems from HP came pre-installed with Word Perfect Office suite. Looks a little bloated now, since WordPerfect 5.1, but still better than Microsoft Word anyday
Oh yeah. That's the solution. Everyone move to the city. That's the answer. I wonder why I didn't think of that? BTW, I live in Suwanee and work in Kennesaw. I wish I could live close to work, but for the amount of money I make, I couldn't afford to live anywhere near my work.
I would have to bike 34.7 miles one way to get to work. What kind of time do you think I have? Maybe you don't have anything else to do, besides go to work.
I would use mass transit, but here in Atlanta, Georgia, the transit system is non existent for people living in the suburbs. Have you thought of that? I would love to take the bus, or the train or whatever means. I have even tried to carpool, but to no avail. Atleast here, people are very happy with driving in their own cars by themselves. That's the fact. Now deal with that and come up with a solution that works.
I was reading an article on the net that said that gateway.messenger.hotmail.com port 80 would work for those behind the firewall, instead of the usual messenger.hotmail.com on port 1863. Has anyone found this to be true? What other options do I need to set for this to work fine?
I have a universal remote control and it works great. But the pesky little menu options are not the universal remote and I have to switch back to the original remote for the product. I am not sure if the phillips and Harmany also have the same problem.
Though, I am not sure about the laws in Japan regarding DRM, this is not going to accepted with open arms here. Just wait till those people on Capitol Hill get news about this.
They don't care what tech is actually playing the movie. They just care about the movie. So, I am not sure what MS is trying to accomplish? Besides, now they will be competing with industry gaints that have been supplying to the theaters for decades.

Microsoft is also a member of OSDL also :-)

That can't be true. Then why does CNN show all sorts of tickers even while they are reading the same news story sometimes?

That's because you need to upgrade to 0.74 patch E for MSN 0.74 patch F for yahoo. Otherwise, you are out of luck anyway.

Get 1000 hrs of free driving for buying/drinking pepsi. Hey, maybe that will fit in the whole Ford Recyclable cars model.

Am i missing something. I know i read the article. But i don't see anything here that says 2003.
Do some research. You will find out that this is not a joke. They are really trying to improve the environment and make money while they are at it.
