In a business environment 99.9999% compatible isn't good enough. If a program can't open one file then there is no reason to switch.

Apparently you never had issues between different MS-Office versions. Its not even 99.9999% compatible to itself.

My guess is 4 cores in 2008, 4 cores in 2009, moving to 8 cores through 2010. We may move to a new uber-core model once the software catches up, more like 6-8 years than 2-4. I'm positive we won't "max out" at 64 cores, because we're going to hit a per-core speed limit much more quickly than we hit a number-of-cores limit.

You can get already 8 cores on current consumer hardware with dual quad core xenons. The Cell CPU is also 8 cores. And the most recent GPUs are running with 240 cores.

I am a scientist and so work with Kelvin all the time. However, I think that Fahrenheit is actually a more useful temperature scale for humans than Celsius. Basically, 0F is wicked cold and 100F is wicked hot. It makes sense for how _we_ relate to temperature rather than how water relates to temperature. That sounds like a very scientific explanation.

Same goes for Iran and restricted goods from the US. In fact its a lot easier for the Iran they simply order over a middleman sitting in Saudi Arabia, Dubai, Qatar or any other appropriate country. Once its out of sight for the US it can be shipped to Iran.

"war on terror" is the phony war. There are less then a few thousands killed by terrorists. But compare this to the people killed by starvation, getting no medication or exploiting third country workers.

Millions die every year to support the wealth of the first countries.

Unless we find a solution that wont kill poor countries people because of capitalism terrorism will not go away

Do they want to shut down trading of electronic components as well?

They cant stop individual use of media from personal use or have to ban digicams and every other personl recording device as well.

Additional team working and organiziation is a must. To be a good game desinger you still have to good programmers and artists available and know what its reasonably makable.
