they would also tell you how to make "games" using user interface components for sprite drawing and such, which is totally idiotic and frankly really fucking shameful. there I was waiting for the free lunch while this young idiot from washington was explaining how to make a game with 7 sprites and 5 collision boxes run "smoothly" on the platform - and that was billed on the agenda as low level knowledge of the platform - fuck, if you do that then at least if they had bothered to send someone who knew xna would have been nice! and wasn't so fucking stupid and arrogant! he literally knew as much as some guy who had been working with windows phone for two weeks would have known - and

My girlfriends iPhone6 shuts off at randomly at anything under 50 percent now, it pretty much needs to be tethered with a charger all the time to use. without you can use it for maybe like 45 minutes. it's nearly 2 years old.
this is in Thailand though - but the point is that iPhone batteries degrade in 2-3 years and the power management doesn't seem to be able to handle the fluctation and degrading of the battery at all - resulting in phones shutting down when it shows to have 50%+ battery. the charge indicator circuitry doesn't learn and the power management circuitry doesn't limit speed or anything if the voltage dips - instead it just does a random shutdown - which might just as well make some phones unbootable if you run this scenario enough times.
in china though most of the apple looking chargers can't provide the 2.1 amps anyways, but the issue happens even with genuine chargers.
I think it's just about westerners not complaining about it or they change the phone after 2 years anyways - in Asia though they still sold new(unrefurbished) iphone5s' like couple of months ago at least - direct from operator. Point being, that status phones like iPhones have a much longer life in Asia - and where do you think all the trade-in iPhones from the west end up as well?
and about the organized complaints only happening in China.. well.. eh. this might surprise you but Consumer protection agencies practically don't exist in most of southeast Asia at least and in the West there is the 24month mandatory warranty anyways.

what's puzzling is that why it doesn't just get full access as YOU COULD JUST REDIRECT THE STUFF TO SOMETHING THAT CAUSES WINDOWS TO SEND THE MS ACCOUNT PASSWORD AND USERNAME IN PLAIN TEXT.. and while at that create a tunnel that stays once it gets plugged to real internet.
how is plugging a computer into a network an offline attack?
requiring physical access is less novel, especially when there are a number of attacks described where if you can place something like that, you could just get the keyboard codes by audio, em and a number of other ways - or heck, do this attack over recording the led at the router.
also it requires you to be logged into the sites already, the sites to not be https.. sorry about the yelling but this seems like a dolt just taking an existing concept, putting it on a raspberry pi and claiming fame based on that.

the deal values linkedin at 50 DOLLARS per user - including all non paying users. it's a stupid price. ms just bought it because they missed out on some other stuff and because the execs at ms spend way too much chatting away on linkedin, because lync sucks.
Now, if you're trying to say that Microsoft wouldn't make a stupid purchase because they're microsoft then may I point your nose to the direction of all acquisitions they have done in the past 10 years. yes, very fucked up every single one of them and failed to turn them into money for ms and at the worst cases just lost them billions for buying a brand they're not going to use and engineers they just promptly fired. just face it, they have bought stuff stupidly, super stupidly, in the past 10 years all for "good reasons" which were all actually very stupid reasons to put billions of dollars into.

what do you mean with why don't they just solder them on the motherboard when they are in fact just soldering them on the motherboard? the said components need to stay somewhere and this is cheapest at the moment and doing it otherwise would be both a) more expensive to source components b) not provide any cost benefits.
and as for pcix.. well, uh. you mean they should invent their own pcix and have intel make them chipsets compatible with said new bus? it's a standard and it's there on the chipset anyways and other components use it to talk with the cpu/chipset anyways.
and.. but laptops did come with soldered memory last decade too.

and well.. doing resolders like that is in the realm of possibility but very tricky. I think he was joking. it's not cost beneficial in the west to perform any kind of repairs like that due to high cost of labor involved.
but asians expect even shit electronics to last couple of years.
they expect premium electronics to work forever, basically, and the crappy one's to be able to be fixed for pennies.

My girlfriends iPhone6 shuts off at randomly at anything under 50 percent now, it pretty much needs to be tethered with a charger all the time to use. without you can use it for maybe like 45 minutes. it's nearly 2 years old.
this is in Thailand though - but the point is that iPhone batteries degrade in 2-3 years and the power management doesn't seem to be able to handle the fluctation and degrading of the battery at all - resulting in phones shutting down when it shows to have 50%+ battery. the charge indicator circuitry doesn't learn and the power management circuitry doesn't limit speed or anything if the voltage dips - instead it just does a random shutdown - which might just as well make some phones unbootable if you run this scenario enough times.
in china though most of the apple looking chargers can't provide the 2.1 amps anyways, but the issue happens even with genuine chargers.
I think it's just about westerners not complaining about it or they change the phone after 2 years anyways - in Asia though they still sold new(unrefurbished) iphone5s' like couple of months ago at least - direct from operator. Point being, that status phones like iPhones have a much longer life in Asia - and where do you think all the trade-in iPhones from the west end up as well?
and about the organized complaints only happening in China.. well.. eh. this might surprise you but Consumer protection agencies practically don't exist in most of southeast Asia at least and in the West there is the 24month mandatory warranty anyways.
