    Will Sri Dhananjai Bikram (a.k.a. World Yoga Champion) be offering corporate courses in meditation?

    If not, can anyone think of anyone better? I was thinking of enlisting the help of Sri Salil "The Hammer" Gupta, but he hasn't been the same since being beaten by Sri Bikram in the World Championships.

    We used to do this at my university too, although the barriers would let off a (reasonably) loud alarm instead. It was much fun to slip a small book into someone's rucksack and see them to red in the face when the alarm sounds. :)

    So what happens next time? What happens when the sights are set of the next member of the so-called "Axis of Evil"? Do the coalition forces invade without proof of WMD? It's bullshit propaganda, and nothing more. You can't be blamed for falling for it, after all, that was the objective. But you have the benefit of hindsight now. Perhaps it might be time to re-evaluate whether or not Iraq was (or indeed is still) a threat.

    But where does he present himself as an uber-hacker? I don't doubt that he rates himself, but not as highly as he seems to rate Wall, Torvalds, RMS et al. I always thought of ESR of an proponent of OS philiosophy as opposed to hacker culture.

    I'm not trolling, but what is your basis for this? I have just started to read CatB, and I haven't yet encountered any obvious delusions of grandeur. ESR virtually states himself to be an egoist, but stills seems to know his place in the greater scheme of all things hacking.

    I'll agree with the designed by them, but as for the only used by them, I do not agree.

    If I so wished, I could generate an OpenOffice.org document without using the OpenOffice.org suite, because the standards are available for all to manipulate. Therefore, it has potential to be used by all.

    Imagine my surprise when I was visiting my parents' house to discover a DVD (with case and all) of Matrix Reloaded sitting next to their television. They didn't even realise it was at the cinema, and then hence an obvious pirated DVD.

    Even funnier was that my mum thought it was total rubbish, and fell asleep halfway though it. Must be the first time I've ever agreed with my Mum on a film...

    Limewire uses the Gnutella, and not the KaZaA network. From my guesswork, KaZaA seems to have a larger following than Gnutella. Comments?

    maybe they could prevent those Jerry Springer episodes by calling you in case your wife's at your brother's house!

    No need to involve DARPA for this one: for the majority of Jerry Springer guests, it should not be a surprise to find their wife at their brother's trailer^H^H^H^H^H^H^Hhouse because there is a high chance they're blood relatives (or even the same person).

    What if someone wants to vote with Win95, or a beta of Longhorn (I guess even warez doodz might vote) and it's "not supported"?

    Then perhaps they could get off their fat arse and get down to the polling station? Or if they can't, then surely they could vote by proxy?
