  1. Vunerable? on IE More Secure Than Mozilla? · · Score: 5, Insightful

How many of those Mozilla exploits compromise the entire OS?

"With high quality digital video equipment getting cheaper, one day all I'll need is a decent camera, boom mike, power Linux box and some college drama students who will work for less than minimum wage."

Uhhhh, since you didn't clarify, will you be filming the screen play you mentioned earlier or a low budget porn flick?

`Cause I'm ready to help with a Paypal donation. For the porn flick, that is.

  3. I still like my mini on A Review of the iPod nano · · Score: 4, Funny
"The four-gigabyte nano costs $50 more than the mini of the same capacity, but it is even more stylish and easier to carry, and it includes a color screen where the mini's was monochrome. It also displays the album title for every song you play, which the mini omitted."

I wonder how much the color screen on the new iPods affect the battery life? I currently own a mini and the battery life is very impressive; Showing the album title isn't that big of a deal for me, but I guess others might like that option.

One downside I've noticed on my mini is that the screen is VERY bright while driving around at night. I'll sometimes DD for my friends and it's entertaining when the backlight kicks on while the drunks are trying to get some sleep during the ride home. "Dude, turn that shit off!" which usually sounds something more like "Douf, urn tha shy awf!" *wretch*

Force onto their customer? They held me up at gunpoint so I had no choice but to buy from the iTMS? If you buy music from iTunes, you're going to have DRM'ed files. Don't like it? Don't buy it.

It's not like music isn't available from other sources (both brick and mortar and online). But remember, those "easily" converted music CDs are starting to include DRM mechanisms as well.

"Even with the inovation of the luna themes, many still go back to classic at the work place. You would rarely see a law office using a mac simply because it doesn't look professional that when you delete an icon off the dock it poofs away like a cloud."

Huh? I know of many, MANY professional offices that use Macs BECAUSE they don't look / act like Windows. "For work, get a Mac, for play, get a Windows machine..." As far as the visual feedback, ever been deaf? News Flash, you can't hear anything! A visual feedback might be the only chance you have to see that an icon has been removed from the Dock.

Overall, the PC is professional, and because buttons don't blink, glow, and fly around the screen does not mean we PC users are lacking innovation...

My only question is: Where are the lawsuits against Microsoft's WMP, Realplayer, the Microsoft XBox Media Player, MusicMatch, etc?

iTunes has been out for over 4 years, and just now there's a lawsuit? I understand it takes time to find a lawyer that will accept a case, but *4* years? Hmmm, right at the height of popularity too, kinda amazing how it worked out like that...
