    I'm not sure if you are just ignorant of how the world works or if you really are that dumb. They will have to relocate the workers INSIDE the country they are residing in, i.e inside UK.

    That is how it works in USA, but IBM is a registered company of UK too and they have to follow the laws of the country. UK, as all the rest of the European cuntries have laws that regulatre what a corporation can do when it comes to layoffs. You can't simply dump employees for no reason and this is a no reason.

    Corporations don't give you vacation days in Europe, governments do. It's regulated by law. I know the word "law" is a difficult one for Americans to grasp. :-)

    a phone that let me store the last say 30 seconds of the conversatition... I.e I'm talking to someone while driving and they give me some information I need later, I could hit a button and the past say 30 seconds was stored semi-permanently so i could play it back once I'm in a position to take notes.

    Offended? Nope, no such thing. It irritates me that people are uninformed paid shills that has set out to defame and to harass PJ, and it irritates me even more that a so-called reputable newsoutlet carried it without a check. CBS-gate anyone?

    As for Gtroklaw, I have an account but I think I posted a couple of comments in the beginning. Today I mostly read the articles and skip the comments. Other than, I have no special feelings about Groklaw and PJ.

    And the non-smokers don't take breaks? Gimme a break! I left my desk ones for a smoke, came back 5 minutes later and I still see the same 2 non-smokers standing in the corridor chatting about private issues. Take off your "hate smokers"-glasses for a moment and realize that the world is not black and white, it's full of colors. I don't think there is much difference in the amount of time wasted between smokers and non-smokers.

    I use Oo since it is better than any other system available under Linux for my use.

    Besides, you really misunderstood. It's not about OO but about Java, Find another OSS alternative than can do the same job as java and I'm sure OO will be more than happy to use it.

    I didn't know that we had mandatory death sentence for murder. Is that new?

    Depending on the type of killing, you can get anywhere from 5 years to many lifetimes or even death penalty for a killing. You can easily rack up a sentence comparable to life for financial crimes, so I guess the only one out trolling is you.

    Wire fraud is not a serious crime?
    No, it's only in USA that financial crimes are considered equal to murder. Other countries consider financial crimes to be of a more petty nature and punishments for crimes are lower.
