I am going to troll for a moment just because the business practices of the phone companies is going to bite them back. After reading some posts here, I realized that GSM is worthless technology that only is good for plastic toys. I got ATT service because I wanted a cool phone. I got it, along with crappy GSM service, where I couldn't use my phone at home or at work. The entire north side of Chicago, my reception would have little or no service. Yet I still had to pay them money and coudnt get out of my contract. Yet if I didn't pay my bill, they would cut off my service. So, they would not even change my phone. My phone bill is about $150 a month (for 2 phones) which now, they get $10 a month because I suspended my service and went back to Cingular on my good old trusty nokia phone.
I ran out and got YDL as soon as it was available, but ended up trashing it and keeping os x. Everything just works for me in it.
But if you have the time: a couple gotchas with the 12":
Airport Extreme is unsuported (if not, experimental)
3D sucks on it. (even though this is redudant, I am just emphasizing this)
the MS/HP computer looks suspiciously like bill gates head (note the ears) and the imac, well both versions look like steves round head! whats going on here...some kind of conspiracy or something.
So, what they are saying is those people who don't even know that MS has security updates, will be the ones that will have all thier baby pictures sent to Ashcroft?
You seem to only see one side of the picture. Try doing a tutorial on some webpage while using a terminal to follow the instructions. Its not just cool to look at, it is functional to see what you are doing below the terminal window. On a small monitor, you don't have to move the windows every time you want to read a line, while working.
IE 5 for Mac OS 9 was a great browser that blew away all competition everywhere, at the time.
But then again, IE only had one great version for Classic. Remember, IE 4.5 for Classic was crap also. But that was back when me and ALL my friends used Netscape.
Nutshell is pretty good for just about everything. I have been looking for a good reference book that doesn't just cover "How to log in" and "intro to the dock" and finally come to the conclusion that I don't really need a book! (also thanks to safari bookshelf/google)
I guess I could learn programming???

I just got back from Bosnia and was the only time I have been in a place that there has been a recent war. This is absolute insantity. I went to a grave yard in Tuzla where they burried 80 or so young people who were in cafes on a friday night in the center of town. I was looking at the DOB and they were all born before me! ('72) Fsckin insanity. The people who were my age are still in shock. The buildings are sprayed with bullets. buildings demolished. I cant believe with even tv media documenting what is happening people are still pro war.
This isn't working but was highlighted on www.apple.com/isync/:
Access your contact information online With iSync your.Mac Address Book online displays the same set of contacts that you keep in the Mac OS X Address book on your machine. This makes it easy to compose and send email from any machine. Plus you have online access to phone numbers and Instant Messaging accounts.
After working so hard successully compiling gentoo on my aging imac, and getting my firewire/palm/ipods to work, why does Apple make it so difficult for one not to boot into linux?? I mean, I am sick of everything working. All iApps rock! I mean what's next Apple?? I would someday like to just be able to reconfigure a kernel again so I can get mol to work. I want to waste hours downloading themes to change in one of my dozen or so windowmanagers. I wish I could just type html code instead of using dreamweaver. I miss the pixely netcape browser. Before, there were dozens of programs that kinda did what I wanted them to, but now, thanks to Apple, I actually am using programs that do everything I want them to. NOW WHAT???
Um, yes you are :P
This is not NEWS. A simple google search will bring up news relating to the "switch" way back in the days of 7B21 (aka the Developers Preview).

Don't they have radio signal pollution? I cant imagine using a bluetooth phone, laptop and Wi-Fi there.
Requiring Windows for voting is soooo unamerican and unpatriotic!
Oh, wait, no it isn't. stupid me.
Yeah, puma, cheetah, jaguar and now panther...5 more to go.
Never heard of these people, why would I want thier ablum?
What roots does MS need? If they can find any way to bury *nix and IBM they will.

Oh this is so easy... Debian is usually right on the mark! >:^)

What do you mean by lately?

Looks like this updates Bluetooth Microsoft keyboard and mouse.
Premier is a (out of date) non-linear editing software, Film-Gimp edits (paints) FRAMES of a film, (very high end).
What was not answered in the comparison is which of these will After Effects run better on?
Now that you realized that you should by a new PC, at the bottom of the page is a link. Go ahead and click on it. Note the dell for sale, dude.

It's Mac, not MAC. Just think of newbies with their new Macs wondering what their MAC address is ;-)

As just a side note for those hesitating to get the latest VPC:
;)
I was incredibly impressed with the speed of VPC. The app snaps just like a normal PC.
It takes about 10 seconds to restore a saved PC under a G4 933. (I was also burning a CD at the same time.)
BSOD still happens though
I even installed Debian (in VPC) on my old 450 dvse imac at home!
Also, I am able to finally use the cosmos (or any other picture based) screensaver on my imac at home.
I think Jaguar is at its best now.
