    Not with the plans I have in mind... ...it will literally become impossible to create a “separate” site like this.
    They will be part of a common (full-privacy-enabled) net, whether they want it or not. Even whether they buy a law against it or not.

    Ok, unless the LiveCD thing finds your hard disk, and they because of that also do, which causes them to “ask” you for the password. I recommend making two partitions on your HDD, and removing the second one from the partition table. Then on the first partition put an OS that is just a realistic honey pot. (So there are no links of any king suggesting there might be another drive. Like entries in your recent files and registry, linking to D:\Porn\...)

    They don’t know how to make it fun. They are no experts in it. You know: Those who can’t design, play. ;)

    They don’t know about the balance between too hard and too easy. About how changing something that people will think is stupid, will make gameplay more fun. After all it’s still supposed to be a game right, not just a simulation.

    You obviously still have to listen to your players. But you have to interpret it trough experienced game designers, to find out what they really want and how to really make that happen. (As it will often be counterintuitive to the players.)

    But oh well... as I said, I’m not really sure EvE still is a game, or rather an alternate reality, complete with everything. (Not that that is a bad thing. Let alone an uninteresting one.)

    No, actually, there is just one morally valid punishment: Separation.
    Or in other words: Hey you, chip maker! We don’t allow price fixers in this country! You have one week to leave. If you or any sub-part of you are seen here again, you will be personally assassinated! Now GTFO!
    Of course, as we are nice people, we will forgive them after a couple of years. If they still exist by then. (Considering how pretty much every other country would also throw them out.) But they will definitely never ever try that again. Ever.

    But doesn’t “Vuze” already do exactly that? (Being able to play back video while still downloading via P2P over BitTorrent.)

    Once you give this data away, you can't take it back. You can't control it. You will have no way to know where it goes or who has access to it.

    Interesting, how people do understand the physics of information very well when it comes to this, but are not so sure when that information is software, music, films, books, etc...
    (No, I’m not saying that you personally have that problem. I do not know that. :)
