wait until they get a pr0n add-on. Long gone will be the days of 40 year old men pretending to be teenage girls in chat rooms... now you can be a *real* girl in the SIM oline world!
Anyone remember that? I still have my Coleco Adam from that era. Anyone think that a Console shakedown is going to happen this year? If I had to bet, I think Nintendo would be the first to drop.
is based on what people are familiar with. The lay person out there has a lot of experience with Window flavors so its installation seems to be easier and more intuitive.
I'll give an example. On most cars changing the sparkplugs is no big deal and sum what easy, yet since most people don't have experience doing it, its considered hard. Same way with Linux.
Plus, I suspect the average person gets confused if more then a couple of options are given.
What are people that don't have very high IQs suppose to do if well educated college grads have a hard time understanding software, or any other for that matter, end-user license.
I guess only the very smart are allowed to use anything requiring an end-user license.
I first realized that I was a geek when I was younger programming on my C64 and I was acting like my programs were from the movie TRON. Anytime I couldn't get a program to work I could swear the MCP was behind it.
I for one missed a lot of class time in college, "I wouldn't say I was missing it bob!". It would of been really cool if I could just download a copy of the days presentation + notes from the whiteboard. That way I wouldn't of felt so bad for drinking so much the night before. Now if the whiteboard would also record sound... I would of never gone to class!
Say you had a big blue blob out in space. Since we are talking about the universe... its a pretty big blue blob. Wouldn't all light behind that blob be skewed toward the blue end of the spectrum when viewed on the other side? Say there was a star behind that blob... now the star is emitting white light, yet we see its color as blue. Does any of this cause a problem with their calculations or do I need to put the pipe down?
I believe its not the size of the antenna that is harmful but the power(WATTS) that the phone is producing. I guess if you have a better antenna, the phone wouldn't have to emmit as much power to connect to the cell towers. Of course if we allowed the tower companys to put up more towers the antenna is a moot point.
How easily can this be ported to say using a plastic computer case for an antenna for wireless lan or how about a cordless phone? With all the plastic in cars... imagine the reception you could get? Would this mean that my alarm radio will finally get good reception? Could I finally have a decent wireless link for my TiVo!?
if something like this has any benefit for the tech sector. Or does tech move so fast that by the time the stuff is in Public Domain... it is so obsolete?
I usually search for help with problems dealing with work. Most of these searches are how to do something in Linux/C++/STL/etc. My problem isn't finding good hits, but spending all the time to read those good hits to find usable information. I'm not sure an algorithm will help me out there. I'd would much rather have a better interface to a search engine then a better search engine algorithm.
We all know its possible to down load music in large quantities in a short period of time... so the guy might of fudge the facts a little... doesn't mean his hypothesis is wrong.
I'd rather not have the Tacos and Cowboys of the world be senators... they have agendas... I'd rather have the common person who tries to do what they feel is right.
is finally getting main stream attention and you guys are bashing FOX. All news organizations are biased one way or the other. The article I admit is not the best piece of journalism... but it still is an article in major press about the SSSCA and how really bad it it.
Yeah... the railroad didn't think it would die either. There is always the posibility of new tech replacing existing tech. Will it happen... who knows...
I wonder if they will back down from enforcing their 1-click patent? I can understand in the beginning of the dot.com boom why they would want to be unique. Maybe now they just don't care since they have made a profit for a quarter and don't need to be a bully.
no matter how small. I'm sure there are many people out there listing to thier IPod wishing there was a way to jot down a simple note. Now they have it... pretty cool in my book.
By the time I left college in '98 the computer labs around campus were being filled with high end machines with all kinds of software available for everyone to use. Plus the dorms had been wired where you could log on to a network and use all the apps. There was no longer any need to steal apps because they were so easy to use legitimately. Of course games and the such were still copied. Could this account for some of the drop?

of the console wars, would EA be so fast to dismiss Microsoft?

What will the computers do when they see my 'O' face?

Ah darwinism at its best.
I like anything to do with Twinkies.
Looks like congress + business needs to ban shredders along with my TiVo and porn.
Not really ... but its sad when a one time good guy turn bad.

I've had some heavy pr0n downloading sprees ... so anything is possible.
