I frequent a forum and have grown close to friends there. I think it's turned into a great place for people to vent and share things found on and off the net. It's more like a social family more than anything.

I predict social forums will continue to evolve and become more mainstream. Look at myspace. Its popularity is based on the interesting content that people post as well as the networking available. There will always be a niche for smaller versions of myspace where people like to call home.

Of course they'll get elected because the large population would vote to have free gum balls. I mean, who wouldn't want free gum balls? The problem is that that sort of promises aren't good for the country as a whole. Can you imagine the number of cavities?

Definitely, don't start mixing chems that make bomb making substances. In the end, if worst comes to worse, you could argue your case in front of a jury comprised of citizens like yourself. As flawed as our court system may be, at least you can present your case to peers in hopes they will understand your passion.

Apparently, the Earth magnetic field has decreased by 10% in the last 10 years. I'm an electrical engineer and during my studies in sub-atomic physics, I learned that a particles velocity can be effected by magnetic fields. I keep hearing about the increased activity of our Sun (it's been getting hotter) and I believe it's possible that more of the Sun's radiation is penetrating the Earth's magnetic field due to it being weaker. If more radiation hits the Earth and the Sun is spewing out more heat, shouldn't that also increase the overall temperature of the Earth and can global warming be attributed to this? Besides, how can you explain the recent same climate changes on Jupitor and Mars. I've been bouncing this idea in my head for a while now and I can't see why this MAY not be true.

Energy and mass are related (E=mc^2) and the Sun sends out particles in all directions. Particles from the Sun have been known to break the Sun's gravitational field during heightened solar activity. Have you ever seen the big tubes of plasma at MIT that is concentrated into focal points using magnetic fields? Particles that are excited have energy in both their oscillation as well as their velocity. Energy and heat are the same thing.
