But if its a pesky hanger oner than they can pay to talk to me and I'll do a revenue share with the phone company. Perhaps, I can turn my phone into a profit center?

This all really indicates that we need some standardized "Game Box" hardware. Standardization is what spawned the PC revolution. I think the same can happen in a Game Box / Set-top Box device. Then we don't have to worry about proprietary standards from MS and Sony.
The box could come with basic software but have a new OS changed by simply changing the compact flash card.
The following features could be supported:

-low power requirements - x86 with enough power to play Divx and DVD - DVD/CDR player - two or more game pads - remote control unit - wireless keyboard - wireless mouse - ethernet or 802.11 - CF Card for OS boot so it can be easily upgraded by non tech people

There has been some debate on the GNU/Linux naming issue on the Gentoo developer's mail list. After RMS himself requested that Gentoo Linux change its name to GNU/Linux.
I feel that the distros based on Linux kernel technology could do a better job of giving credit where credit is due. Distros would would be wiser to drop the Linux moniker and some newer distros appear to be doing this like LindowsOS, Xandros and Lycoris for example.
An example boot screen of a well thought out naming and credit screen would be as follows:

Yes but in California and Washington State they use the same currency US dollars so in the end there is no end effect on the country issuing the currency. For Venezula it is different situation since they have no control over issuing USD dollars. So by not buying US technology they stregthen there own econmony.
The real issue is that the Venezulian currency is just low in relation to US dollars so the country is poor valued in US Dollars. However, if this type of thing occurs on a global scale through Asia and Europe then this weakens the demand for US Dollars and it looses value globally.
This looks like what is going to happen to the US dollar anyway as cheap imports from China and increasing technoligical and agricultural abilities in Asia increase.
The US needs another innovation above and beyond computer technology to remain the global economic leader. Likely this will occur through nanotechnology or biotechnology. The country that can become the leader in one or both of these two technologies is destined for superiority in the future. This assumes that countries as an entity actually remain important. The corporation could end up suplanting government in the future.

Samba was our beach head that allowed us to get a footing on Microsoft so we could execute missions in their territory.
The best thing is that our Samaba soldiers will still live on to write other great software to help us rid our lives of Microsoft software.

I had to setup a temporary IMAP server on Linux and then import all my Outlook folders to the IMAP server.
The IMAP server contained by folders in MBOX format which I could then import into Evolution.
I was able to apply Evolution filters to mine interesting data in my old mail and filter out old spam out of my archives. It was great.
