Yep, Fanta's coming back, apparently. I first noticed it about half a year ago, when there was Fanta in the school vending machine. I uttered the nearest verbal equivalent of "WTF? w00t!" and promptly bought a few dozen, just in case it was a fluke. It seems it wasn't, and they're now available in boxes of n^2*6 cans at grocery stores.
And if you want to be really picky, the "shell" is just drawn for ease of perception at the 90% boundary. The orbital itself is closer to a blur mostly (90%) within the shell. Or are you talking about the various orbital groups that electrons can occupy at different energy levels as "shells"?
If it's something you're interested in, there are many good websites dedicated to orbital vizualization.
Molecules are not really relevant to gold. Some elements and compounds form molecules, and some only form crystals. Your statement is correct; however, "gold atoms" is in fact more accurate in this case.
I won't bother going into the details of orbits vs. orbitals, but let it suffice to say that electrons don't orbit.
Hehe. That "dude named Nathan" would be me. The way I did it was I made a small image in The GIMP, zoomed in a lot, then typed in the right letter pair for the pixel and copied the line to make it the right height. Wish I'd been able to do something a bit more automatic, but I haven't mastered enough in Linux yet to manage it.
You left out the ", Horatio," bit. Everyone does, though. I'd say it's one of the most misquoted lines of Shakespeare, next to "Alas, poor Yorick! I knew him, Horatio...". Strange how Horatio gets left out of all the quotes, isn't it?
And when you do something illegal it vibrates.
Um, is that "something illegal" like making an invalid selection on a menu or "something illegal" like running a red light?
Well, in that case, shouldn't Blizzard sue themselves? After all, it was them who wrote the program that sent the packets that enabled the reverse-engineering in the first place.
That is SO true. I once wrote an elaborate program to calculate annuity tables, even though I knew the teacher wouldn't give me extra credit. She had me run it on her computer to demonstrate it to the class.
EBOLA? No thanks...
Often, you can throw a programmer out of Windows
Or push him down the stairs, if you prefer.
Sorry. I misinterpreted what you said earlier as implying that AND was an acronym.
Okay, then. What does AND stand for?
No, you misunderstood it. The robot assists with three-dimensional surgery. Before that, they only had robots operate on Flatlanders.
Of course it'll work. All you need to do is this. Just stop the light for however long you need to to make the object appear at the proper depth.
But I thought 64k should be enough for anybody...

(Score:1, Redundant) One of the most apt moderations I've seen in quite a while.
Peru seems like a good choice.

But the email said he could make millions of dollars by spamming! What a ripoff!
We could just encompass all the spellings by calling it f***ball. Of course, that would probably tend to be misinterpreted...

Not if you give them permission.
TK-421? Why aren't you at your post?
FIVE TONS OF FLAX!
Isn't is obvious?
In case that happens, here's the Google cache of the Google cache!
So, do some research before you call someone a moron for not doing any research.
