This fits into the linux/free speech/OSS/FSF ideology pretty well.
Linux needs publicity and control right now. I am a hard core linux user/advocate, but I do admit there are a few things left to be desired. One of the biggest problems with OSS/linux/FSF etc is that people don't follow through with what they set out to do. There are uncountable unfinished/barely stated source forge projects, and there are hundereds odf *almost* complete applications. One thing that corporations tend to do is follow through. Look at Internet Explorer or MS Office. MS is paying poeple day in and day out to sit and upgrade/tweak those apps. The more companies that start putting money into linux the better. Anyways... Lineo rocks. I've been so lucky as to become involved with a group that's using both the uCSimm and uCDimm on various projects. Cool Shit.

That already exists. On my Canon S110, I can select which pics I want to print, and at what size. I then pop the CF card into my printer's CF drive and hit print.
