  2. Re:Being blind in one eye... on 3D TV For The Masses? · · Score: 0

On the other hand, being half blind on one eye makes visual 3d perception of picture much easier. That's why all 3d glasses have one eye darken out (red glass), but not fully. It makes impossible to be accurate of the actual distance, but being able to see object with both eyes, brains try to make some other kind of visualization. Brains just try to get a distance from visible objects, and so objects that are separated from backgruond just look closer than background. I know that's not 3d tv. It's common 3d theatre movie way of producing 3d effect. Test: Take sunglasses, break them, use half of them enough close to separate outside light but still see trough this half. Watch a movie. Head hurts after that.

In upgrading evolution you can use this options.

    1) Install ximian desktop (easyest task of all and it has great benefits)
    2) Search for made packages, but you'll have to upgrade some low level features, that means that you'll have to upgrade probably some gnome parts and nautilus
    3) Build from sources (this task is difficult but not impossible, I'm building evolution every time that way, of course that means that you'll have to look in configure results to see what devel part are you missing, but once you get it straighten, it will always work)

    1.0.3 has been upgraded, yes

One of the main functions they include in their API is LoadDLLLibrary(). It loads old DLLs. Guess where this'll take them. To porting 3.1 an 95 or other already compiled DLLs in .Net. Otherwise there is no effective usage of this and M$ would be forced to rewrite complete System.
Using this technology this way it'll make them even more effective in being ineffective.

Second. IE and Netscape 1.0 supported what? Mozilla 1.0 is taking aim at W3C standards and IE 6 level and mozilla is doing that succesfully. It's a great OOS browser and you know it, otherwise you wouldn't write what you just did. You're just one of common people that finds hard to accept new standards. OOS is future

How long is IE in progress now? More than seven years, still buggy with security holes. Doesn't really deserve 6 version.
