The chaining sounds like how parties gain exp. I'm not sure I like the idea of monsters fighting other monsters. It sounds amusing to watch. Although, if you can't train monsters onto others it becomes the annoying kill stealing, loot denying mob. I'm pretty sure they arn't going to have monsters loot other monsters.
What I'm looking forward to in FF12, is if and how they will handle airship battles.

  4. Re:There are rules to everything, no man is above on Virtual Muggings in Lineage II · · Score: 1

Sure it is cheating. Of course break one rule, why stop there? If your already willing to use a bot, might as well make some money off of it, both in and out of the game. The idea of a cheating fee sounds like, but I would think anytime a game tried to charge a card the person would just call thier bank and tell them to stop payment. If they are even using thier own credit card. The companies would have to stop selling the pre-paid game cards to really track someone any further than what store they got the card from. Of course if an ISP gave half a rats ass about what happens in a game they 'could' send the account and just have a gamer blacklist of accounts who have been caught cheating. I would suppose it would sill let the person log in, create a character for a while. Then if the is on the list, then the GM's would get a notice. Then I'm sure at this point the system breaks down becase filling out the report to the Blacklist just becomes paperwork for the GM's of a game. Then after playing a game for maybe a few weeks and the shiny newness wears off. The idea of seeing your character instantly become something like a bat wielding PCP,meth fiend can be quite amusing, espcially if your the only one or at least one of the very few.

Yeah, that becase it was ADV. They have used the same 6 voice actors in everything for the past 10 years. Everything dub I have heard from them sounds exactly like the others. I really don't even think they even try to change thier voices to fit the characters. To me it seems they are under the asumption they are live action actors.

I remember hearing the first episode of Evangelion dubbed at a convention and thought it was a new episode of Gunsmith Cats.

That is a good question, and the first part of the answer bothers me.
Sorry, we aren't allowed to give out those guidelines, they are "top secret."

Is there a legal reason he isn't allowed to give the censorship guidelines out? I'm sure it is some 200+ pages of how to make sure the bar only serves frothy mugs of brown water, in the most legally binding way possible. Then it makes me wonder just why the general public aren't allowed to read such a document.

I can understand the Alcohol consumption, Gambling, abuse of minors, and blood from any major wound. Then most of the language is understandable as for the swear words, just because some kids would quote whoever says them. Then to a kid over fourteen "kill" isn't shocking, it probably isn't very shocking to a kid over eight nowadays. Then the references to God is rather interesting. Do they give all recognized religions similar guide lines? Or, just mentioning of the word, god, because they are afraid that someone will hear just that and not even wait to consider the context? Then the real judgment calls if the editor cuts or changes would defiantly be listed under the last part of "situations considered too brutal or intense for younger viewers". I'm sure this section makes the most interesting read of the guidelines, if it has a few examples.

Then if a kid is too dependent to let others to say what they can and can not hear, they should be asleep by 10 pm, not sitting in their room watching late night tv.
