    Its a very long term plan to coral linux to just Novell, which will be bille as the "safe from IP violation verion of linux." Other distros/developers will be sued for patent violations, forcing large companies to adopt Novell. Once the dust settles, MS will turn on Novell and crush them, thereby eliminating linux from the market place.

    There is no law stating you can't patent something with prior art then sue the person who actually invented it, ruining their business and their life. There is also no requirment that patent clerks have to check prior art outside of the patent system. Its the American way people, and through 'diplomatic' pressure, it will soon be your country's way too.

    We have over 1000 employees and 7000 linux boxes, 1200 of which are workstations, and 4 admins. People get a 1 hour KDE training "this is how you read mail, this is how you use the internet, this is open office". Any idiot can use KDE to be productive, all the concepts are the same. You click on an icon, a program launches. If you have employees that need an admin to manage that, fire them.

    If people want to throw away TCO, security, easy of administration, power, and all the free enterprise proven software available for a glorified calendar and wiki program from Microsoft, they can go right ahead.
