They are not solely made of Silicon. They also have layers of copper interconnects and dielectrics. I wonder if their thermal expansions are relatively similar?
I know fujitsu also has this coating and so does hp (they call it brightview). Could anyone explain what it is or how it works? Is it even the coating which makes it brighter or is it something related to the display or backlight?
You can get the FM transmitting capability without buying a whole new audio player.
I know of one product
here that lets the user transmit any audio to a radio. You can use it with any thing that has a headphone jack.
It will take money (most likely large quantities of it) to turn that person into a diamond. Therefore, you wouldn't be able to become extremely rich by, say, digging up graves and turning the bodies into jewlery.
2. You can control what goes into the computer
1. You learn quite a bit about what goes on inside your computer, and you can have a lot of fun at the same time... (rather geeky fun)
Actually, it was bad/good. I built a computer, powered it up and nothing happened. After trouble shooting for a could of hours I figured it was the motherboard. Amazingly, they were helpful, and tested it for me (although i was pretty sure it didn't work) and replaced it with minimal hassle.
Unfortunately, the rest of my experiences have been poor. understatement
After reading the webpage, I did not see any mention of the software actually doing any thing. I only saw a UI where a human could control the head... Does anybody know if the builder has plans for an automated head? (Besides M1, which ought to take a life time)
Dwight Schrute? Is that you?

The Only Thing Stronger Than The System
Is The Man Who Will Overthrow It
Wow... It would be kinda hard to overthrow it otherwise.

Nothing is certain, but I'm looking forward to drinking a glass of champagne when I come back to Earth

I live near Palo Alto (think Stanford), and my whole family felt it, but i missed it... oh well .
Just out of curiosity, what distro are they running on it?
Isn't this just reclaiming water from sewage, then breaking it into Hydrogen and Oxygen? If it is, this is nothing new...

patents are fun
More power to the US and its ability to destroy other countries. Yay.. Woohoo.
Just a clarification, i was not referring to their store, rather their designs.
I like the sony design, they tend to keep things clean... very nice...
Isn't it up to the company you work for what you can and can't do on company time?
What's wrong with a Nomad jukebox and a car adapter?
Good question... maybe a laptop hard drive would take the bumps better...
