    "Move on". I find that phrase amusing, as it reminds me of moveon.org. I.E., "We've done our damage, failed, so it's time to move on. Move on, nothing to see here. Please don't mention the elephant in the room".

    The next artificial, manufactured crisis/media panic will be shortage of fresh water, just watch, as the groundwork is being laid right now.

    "Climatology", as a discipline, has existed for how long? OTOH, they have fancy, slick computer animations, so they must be right.

    Appropriate airchange cycles and circulation solve the problem. But these tech solutions are beside the point, as it's an ongoing holy-war-on-smokers period in history. It's trendy and PC to marginalize and hate smokers and force them into ever-smaller corners in the name of health concerns.

    It's almost as if some people's bottled-up hatred from the past and frustrations have been redirected towards an easily identified target.

    And as you mention, if you fear something/are concerned about something, just don't go where it exists! It all smells of a control issue, not a public health one.

    When I'm busy and only have time to read a few comments in a story and not to post, I get them all the time.

    I had a similar experience (but while posting fairly often), even getting mod points more and more frequently, so I turned off the 'willing to moderate' switch. No sense in getting them and not using them.

    I always modded up, following the recommendations.

    special-purpose machines which offered text editing, printing, and storage for documents. They replaced typewriters.

    I find it kind of sad that most people reading this have never typed on anything that doesn't rely on electrons to work.
