They could add a those thinkpad mouse track nubs to the top as nipples and then you could control your mouse too, although it would probably get difficult if they got excited:)
If there was one thing I wouldn't buy again it would be a HP notebook, especially a $450.00 HP notebook. If I was on a budget I'd buy a $999 ibook and if I wanted linux I would install a PPC port of it.
No word yet from the Grand Theft Auto team about including a Segway in their next game release.
If you can't devistate a human body with it, then it doesn't belong in GTA.

If your G4 has a internet connection you should enable internet connection sharing and then you will be able to use NAT (Network Address Translation) to access the net. Essentially your G4 becomes the network gateway/router and it will pass through your requests.
it would make much more sense for Cisco to back a city that makes it difficult to run services. One in particular that comes to mind is Venice, instead of fighting with the waterways why not just broadcast across the city so that everyone can easily tap into the wireless access. I realize from what I've seen/read that it is more of a old world city so maybe technology isn't a high priority there but just think of what it could do to help revitalize it.
After reading the article I fail to see which aspect of the browser being called Firebird negatively hurts them? Maybe they just want to be the top hits in a search engine and are afraid that the browser Firebird might steal that glory?
Maybe they should just call it 'Phirebird' since Phoenix starts with a PH anyways and then it wouldn't piss them off but it would probably piss someone else off. You just can't make everyone happy so why bother trying.
I'm a network specialist for a cable company, the problem is probably that both machines ended up on the same subnet and since there's no router (i'm assuming) it goes out and hits the ubr and just like it would on a lan and shares with your neighbor.
Computer manufactures should focus on lower power solutions instead of building better batteries (or combine the two). My 17" Powerbook I ordered is rated at 4.5 hrs already with a standard battery.
In general the pc world seems that the solution is always to throw more power at the problem instead of trying to come up with a more elegant method of dealing with it. (This isn't a rip on PC's I use both Macs and Pcs daily, just that there's more than 1 solution to most problems)
This would be something I'd like to see implemented (and many web masters probably would like to see not implemented).
The ability to set a timer for a webpage to refresh, on an individual page basis. So on sites that I frequently view, I don't have to refresh constantly, I already know that the page has been reloaded recently. Web admins would probably hate this as it would put additional load on the server as the pages refresh, but I know it would make me happier.:)
He figure's it millions of dollars cheaper to have the cartoons show the clone wars rather than to film it all. That way he can make ep3 for a lot less and continue to milk all the money from Star Wars geeks with his crappy movies.

3 Tivos!>?! I can't even come close to watch what my Time Warner PVR records daily. Do you work? Seriously.

People actually buy that x10 crap?
Looks like Microsoft is taking a potshot at Apple's iLife.
obviously you cannot grasp the concept of the joke.

I didn't realize that FoxPro was still being used, considering Microsoft's push of Access and SQL Server.
Grand Turismo 3

Jeez and all this time I thought ISDN stood for 'Insanely stupid dial-up networking'.
when you can buy a printer that's cheaper than the ink cartridge costs.
www.3drealms.com I downloaded it and it looks real but I haven't tried compiling it.
This has been on apple's site for months and to think my post about the duke nukem source being made available as of yesterday got rejected.
Sam Raimi and Bruce Campbell's finest work. I proudly own this one.
...idea which sounds funny at first... but really, why not?
"And the world was run by DAMN DIRTY APES!"
Heston is da bomb yo!

is to do a screen capture of a Texas Instruments calculator in graph mode, you don't get any more professional than that! (Yes I'm just joking)
I agree with your other points but Avid software does have a fairly large market share in the video world.
Now you can finally play Doom 3.
