lunkey, your a moron and you should be shot..lol..time warner is a big one, sprint and alot of others, they pull the plug on stuff going against anything that could damage thier reputation or that of affiliates all the time..
lets see, if you look at any os that actually sells, or software there sells for that matter, its there. 3dsm - lets people customize everything not essential to what it was designed to do, windows - lets people do the same thing(hell if you really wanna get rid of the start button write your own damned taskbar and mod the registry so it starts it up and not the real thing), games let you customize maps and charactors, when it dosn't interfere with the overall gameplay. every piece of good software i have ever seen does this, the idea most of the open source community takes towards features and making the end user put them in is just plain idiotic, since most users couldn't make a html page that says hi.
because most people are idiots when it comes to computers, thats why microsoft is on top, they write software for the average person, but still make it so people who actually know wtf thier doing can change it to thier liking.
this isn't really old news..this material can do more than just bend and straighten, it can move in more complex ways(like the knot if u would read the damned article), and it is don't with just a temp change, not applying seperate chemicals to diff parts..
it still would require time and money on blizzard's part, as well as the ability to just send random keys in every now and then checking if they are right or not, with all thier software to change they key it takes about 5 minutes, with this it chould be done and checked in about 5 seconds..
so what your saying is that you would rather live a very long time and make no impact on society, rather than live for a short time and remembered forever?
so you work for whatever crap company makes this savenow thing huh? the reason people don't like this crap is because people don't like having thier lives monitored, as soon as people can do these little things it becomes less and less wrong for the big things to be spied on as well, it is spy ware and not help ware, there is no such thing as help ware..
then whats it about, because otherwise they have nothing to gain, the only thing they could hope for is to get damages for the legal fees and extra for time and shit, there is also the idea of blizzard saving it's cdkeys..
are you completly retarded, the reason bnetd is not allowed to have the blizzard cdkey db is simple, they would be basicly giving millions or licenses to an open source group, which would write the code to login to the blizzard db and get the data, and then to check it. Being open source that would give it to anyone who downloads the code the db as well(assuming poor work on the bnetd side there, but still bnetd would get millions of licenses free), either way it exposes millions of accounts, and makes thier already tremendously flawed security worse..
actually it is exactly like a crack to the program, because it bypasses the built in security protection, they wrote a crappy cdkey auth system so yes, it can be bypassed this way, and yes it would count..
well once batle.net no longer had a reason to exist(people stop buying new blizzard games), they could easily startup thier emulator, then after they get a large client base start charging people..
i actually like the syntax, it keeps you from pressing more than one key at a time most the time, and therefore helps you type faster, it is also a much nicer format after you write a few addins to mod the ide.
if you try to silence them you are just as closed-minded as they are, besides, they do a pretty damn good job of making anyone with an iq over 2 disbeleive them.
..are there so that people can customize thier computer, noone is the exact same so they should be able to change thier settings(including thier software/os, which i don't see how it is lazy to add new features since it is more effort than saying "i think this is the best, you don't need more").
omg..so sorry i didn't declare headers on a thing that was suppose to look simple..moron

i develop alot of free software, the reason, just like about 99.9999% of everything else i have seen that free, is because it is not complete, and is not something that many people would pay for.
there is no such thing as extreme or pair programming, only one person can code at once unless you have a nice little networked ide; and the idea of the zone only being a couple hours a day just shows how simple your mind works..
you can do alot of powerful stuff in vb, and when compiled it can be made to work as fast as a well written c program or faster, its just that not very many people have the attention span to learn vb so in depth..

umm...its that kind of thinking that gets the money going to the people that deserve it, not little script kiddie code thieves..
