    ..flash, or anything else that requires a plugin that does not come with all browsers, limits your audience..whenever i goto a page with flash or java aplets(when i don't need a calculator and none are near me) i immediatly exit the page, because i know that there is no actual content - just a bunch of crappy anims that take 30 secsw to download(on a cable modem)

    hehe...thats the funniest thing i have ever read on /. So the borland c compilers and free ide are better than the commercial version made by the same company? MSPaint beets Adobe Photoshop? Simpletext beets Word? your reasoning is flawed, there is not a single piece of free software I use for one simple reason, its shit. Linux is not better, it has had far more man hours of work than Windows, and yet it still does not support anywhere near the functionality. Commercial software has to be better or it will not sell, free software can be made by someone to fill a simple task then poorly expanded to fill others that users request. You are a moron.

    so does every app i have ever written, and things liek starcraft, diablo, warcraft, borland c builder. theres a simple reason, as long as the company keeps thier programs up to date they can't be held liable for damages, since any known bugs are fixed, in fact i think i heard several times here on /. that companies should update thier code and force updates so that people will have those security holes blocked up, funny how you change your mind..

    of cource theres an abs future, even if there were different diminsions whenever something traveled through time, that diminsion would still ahve a set future, determined when the universe was first formed, and later when the universe implodes on itself before expanding again in another big bang it will be determined in the exact same way, so when you think about it i'm immortal:)
